I like stylish kettles, and it is one of my few indugences, especailly as the kitchen is one of my favourite rooms. I was wanting to give my kitchen a nice warm feel so thought red would be perfect. At first I looked at this morphy richards sister kettle, the red traditional pyramid version, however I am now so glad I went for this one.
Firstly it get full marks for style- the metalic red finish gives it a glowing dome look that is very striking- plus eay to clean. The longer shape also ads to its design, plus the glass center with a blue hue when it boils.
It has a large good size lid for filling up and holds a generous amount of water- it says up to 8 cups but can esily take another 2. Boiling is very fast, and not to noisy and done effortless with one flick of a switch. Another plus point is the weight- its very light feeling so great if you have weak wrists or arthritis. It is a cordless kettle, which means altohugh the kettle has no cord the plinth is sits on does. The cable is quite short for this- so you need a plug point very near.
The handle is black plastic, which is a bit of a let down, but I still feel it looks good- everyone who has seen it has commented how smart it is.
Overall Im really pleased with it , it does all the things I want to - makes large kettles of water, boils fast, looks terrific and I have not seen anyone else with the same kettle ( unlike its sister pyramid one ) , so would definately recommend .

This is a great kettle, really pleased with it and looks fab in my kitchen. I was looking for a red kettle to compliment my new kitchen, the colour on the body of the kettle is a real vibrant red and adds some style to an otherwise ordinary stainless steel kettle. Lots of people say this kettle is noisy when boiling but it's no more noisy than any other kettle I have had...and that's quite a few. I purchased this when it was half price or less so grabbed a right bargain....pleased.

Before i bought this i has a Breville which was very loud and water level was terrible. Compared with that this is lovely but this kettle is in a league of its own.
It not noisy like the other kettles i've had and boils very fast, looks fantastic!!Especially the blue light that comes on when boiling, makes it so easy to see the amount of water in it.
The price was great. I would recommend this and i'm very fusy. Took me ages to choose a kettle and this was the right choice.
My beautiful new kettle looks stunning in the kitchen.
This comes with a 2yr warranty which i didn't know at the time. Added bonus.
The first one that came was a little damaged but Amazon quickly sent me a new one 1st class with no extra charge.

Buy this if you need a kettle that not only looks good but works beautifully.....i don't write reviews but felt i had to for this one.

i bought this kettle to match the theme of my kitchen and it wasnt too expensive. i love it, its not noisy and it boils super quick.. i would definately reccomend it!

Looks good and is also user friendly. Button to open lid is great in comparison to the fiddly job of this kettle's predecessor. 360 degree placement on base, wide spout for filling/splash free pouring and speed of operation are its winning features. No problems with noise as another reviewer reported. Thoroughly recommended.

Smart looking kettle that boils very quickly. Some buyers were worried that it was too noisy but it didn't bother me, that's what rapidly boiling water sounds like.

very good looking kettle with blue lights showing when using very fast boil and not at all noisy. looks great in my kitchen and matches my morphy richards toaster easy to fill using spout or opening the lid light to lift when filling would recommend and comes with 2 year warranty would buy another

This is a great kettle with a lovely colour. It's not too heavy either. The only slight disadvantages are, it's a wee bit noisy when it boils (but not terrible) and the cord to the plug is pretty short, so ok if you're plug point is not too far. Otherwise, it's an excellent buy.

Not too much to say on this one - it looks great, is very sturdy, and very well-priced. A great purchase.

My partner Charlie constantly has his hand on it................(The Kettle That Is!) We love this light-weight trendy kettle, that boils virtually at the click of a switch. Yet again one of my bestest purchases!!x
