4.0 out of 5 stars Is following in Dido's shoes, 25 Oct. 2000
By A Customer
The story in this book follows on from Joan Aiken's book Is. The heroine is Is (the younger half sister to Dido). She rights wrongs and performs daring deeds. A strong minded, mostly self reliant heroine. This book explores some of the further branches of the Twite family tree. There are smugglers to be foiled, a missing child to find, parents to find and a puzzle to solve. Is herself is not as engaging as Dido but that's probably due to her late arrival on the stage. Dido remains in the side wings and does not make an appearance in the book but on the last page there's some very interesting news about her fate.....
