3.0 out of 5 stars Disc1 is the same as Disc3
I was enjoying watching this series until I got to disc 3 when I could notice that disc 3 is the same as disc 1, which means am missing 7 episodes from disc 1. I thought it was strange when I seen disc 2 was shown in black and white when disc 1 was in colour. I checked all discs with the episodes that are printed on the inside of the cover and all were correct except for...

I first started watching this when i was much younger, i think i started on the film as it was one of those films that were shown on TV over christmas all the time. I was lucky to watch a few episodes and found them really different from the film, the series is generally a great laugh but some points do lack where other comedies at the time flew at.

The box set is well packaged in digi format with one double case with each disc crammed on to the flaps. overall it's a truly fantastic set and the episodes included is printed on the box...

Enjoyed the DVD as it reminded me of better times. Interesting guest stars such as Richard O'Sullivan. No in depth story lines but enjoyable.

5.0 out of 5 stars A writer trying to cope with living with his two teenage daughters., 5 Feb 2014

Lots of comedy mix ups as Patrick aided by Nanny tries and usually fails to keep control of his two daughters, his writing, his publisher and his giant dog! Great family entertainment only slightly risque. A truly funny alternative to todays so called comedy programmes.

I was enjoying watching this series until I got to disc 3 when I could notice that disc 3 is the same as disc 1, which means am missing 7 episodes from disc 1. I thought it was strange when I seen disc 2 was shown in black and white when disc 1 was in colour. I checked all discs with the episodes that are printed on the inside of the cover and all were correct except for disc one that contains the same episodes as disc 3.
Regarding to the number of episodes I believe there to be 45 that is shown on the cover.

I gave 3 stars because of this mix-up

According to Amazon's product descripton this box set contains "all 45 episodes plus the film", yet the cover says 48 episodes plus the film. Which is correct. Are there 3 mini-episodes ???
