5.0 out of 5 stars Methods Of Magnificence
This is a great modern sounding record. Gone are the hip hop tracks that have badly dated the first album. This is probably more solo Tommy Lee than a 'band' album but beats both Tommyland and Never a Dull Moment by being an album made up of many differing styles. There are easily 4 great singles on this album not including the two already released. The dance style tracks...

What a god awful collection of songs!!! Please do not buy this, it stinks so bad. Don't get me wrong i love tommy and the last methods album was the nuts, but this is so friging BAD. Not the good Bad at all.....
Save your cash and hopefully Tommy will beat the drums for Motley again soon....

The dance style tracks stand out for me simply because it feels like Tommy is doing what he wants on these and not what's expected of him. Having said that, he rocks out in big style all over this record and with all the contributions from fans worldwise via thepublicrecord.com there is much to glean from this album and so far is standing up to repeat listens.

2.0 out of 5 stars What happened ?, 16 Jan. 2011
Gone are the Hip Hop and heavy stylings that made the first methods of mayhem album so great.Gone are the gritty subjects and humour.Arrived is the soft rock that The calling and Orson would be proud of.Arrived is the sentamental ramblings of Tommy Lee being neutered.Just for the record good music is good music regardless of age, songs don't have sell by dates. Methods of Mayhem?Try Methods of writing wimpy ballards.Loved the first album, hate the second.

A great new album from the star of Motley Crue. Tommy and co have produced an album that is exciting, rocking, interesting and ever changing. Many different styles of track to suit any ear. Thoroughly recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ah, Sect. 8..., 5 Dec. 2010
This review is from: A Public Disservice Announcement (Special Edition) (MP3 Download)
Two of the best tracks on this album ('Timebomb' and 'Louder') are both old Sect. 8 songs (J3's band before hooking up with Tommy).
If you can find a copy check out '88cm Kanone' by Sect. 8, worth every penny!
