As the title indicates, this book is not a simple introduction to political communication. Davis goes further: he doesn't limit to present the main elements of this domain, but he rather inquiry new and challenging questions.
With a rich use of specialised literature, the author combines media sociology, communication research and political science findings, to stimulate discussion and to propose new academic paths (based usually in the UK context).
I strongly recommend this book, specially for those who have already some knowledge in this field.
