These are great looking oven gloves and they do the job well, however, the quality is questionable.
The part you can see is great but the inner lining has not been machine stitched correctly at the seems. I sent back the first pair, as I could feel the broken seam as soon as I put my hand into one of the mitts. The replacement was better but after the first use required stitching, as I could feel the heat coming through where the quilted seam had not be caught correctly. Today, I have turned the gloves inside out, to let them dry after washing and I have noticed that the seams are pulling apart in two or three places, so out with the needle and thread again!
Now it may be that the two pairs that I was sent were just substandard but it is worth turning the glove section inside out and checking that the material has been joined correctly, before you use them. Besides this issue, the idea of the oven gloves is a good one. (Tip: don't forget to turn inside to let dry, if you have washed them.)
