It's a general cookbook of lunch ideas for kiddos. I've only skimmed through it, but so far it's given me a few more ideas to pack in my son's lunchbox.

The book contains plenty of easy and varied recipes to try out for kids and adults, from waffles to muffins to smoothies and plenty of other things. The recipes are collected from a range of sources and individuals, making for quite a wide variety including but not limited to gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan.

The book is written with an American audience in mind so quantities are in cups and temperatures are in Farenheit, which can be a little frustrating. That said most of the recipes offer suggestions for possible alternatives and substitutions for difficult to source ingredients and there isn't an over-reliance on branded products like in some cookery books.

Some of the recipes are easier than others and with plenty of specialist recipes some will appeal more than others, but there are plenty to experiment with and so far they seem to turn out well. There are also plenty of links to blogs and websites of contributors making it easy to go and find more recipes from a favourite cook.

Overall, a nice little resource for anyone wanting to try a few different ideas out for breakfast, lunch and snacks.

Five stars all the way, one of the few cook books that I will use 95 per cent of the recipes, don't be put off by other comments, and their blogs are great too!

Bad for me,but I would have recommended it to little children between the ages from 3 to 6!! It was not that good for older kids,so I would have not recommended it to them.

I guess the recipes were ok...but things like Flax seed, chia seeds, almond flour and stuff is hard to find in your average supermarket and very expensive.

So if you in the UK, live far away from a health food store or just really not interested in faffing about with strange ingredients...steer clear. I was disapointed :(

Smewhat lacklustre
Didn't really offer anything new
Can't say that my kids would eat many, if, any of the recipes.
Disappointed.
