This double disc collection of All Saints is a must have for all fans of the stellar girl group, though many die hard ones will probably own most if not all the material on this set it does include some now hard to obtain b sides from there late nineties heyday. This could also serve as a re release of their smash hit second album Saints and Sinners from 2000 as it contains the entire album [though with tracks scattered about the collection and not presented in original order],we also get a good 75% worth of their self titled debut album from 1997 which adds to the most comprehensive career overview of the band thus far.The only startling ommison is the credible hit cover of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers classic Under The Bridge which is perhaps absent due to copyright reasons, also missing from the debut is the angst ridden Trapped and funky attitude driven Beg but perhaps their ommisin will attract more casual fans to picking up a copy of their classic debut. The inclusion of the now hard to find b sides I Remember,Get Down,No More Lies,Inside and If You Dont Know What I Know make up for any absent tracks and officially make this set a rather comprehenive and thorough collection. Also if that wasn,t enough the two singles Rock Steady and the shoulda been hit that wasn,t Chick Fit are both included from 2006s reunion album Studio 1 are included along with two stand out cuts Flashback and On and On from that era all of which make this career spanning compliation up to date.

This is what people class as a 'budget release'. I don't believe the All Saints girls had any involvement in this release as the label who put this package together specialise in low budget compilation albums. Having secured the rights to the majority of the All Saints back catalogue we have 'Pure Shores: The Very Best of All Saints'.
The CD is mostly a compilation of singles and album tracks from the 'All Saints' and 'Saints & Sinners' albums, with the singles from 'Studio 1', some B-Sides and remixes to boot.
In fact, this album looks 100% official. The record comes in a slip-case sleeve and the artwork and inlay CD sleeve have been put together really well. For any All Saints fan, it is a recommended purchase and a real nice-to-have in the absence of this great girl band.
The only disappointment is the absence of 'Under The Bridge' which apparently wasn't included for legal reasons (I assume Copyright issues). Apart from that this is a great package that is far above standard for a cheap budget release.

although not a total fan of All Saints I like some of their songs, in particular the track "Black Coffee". So I was very pleased to find this C D was available through Amazon, with the song Black Coffee included in the track list. I am looking forward to playing this CD and "getting to know" All Saints, albeit a bit late as I believe this group have split up, I believe two of the girls were sisters and formed their own little band called "Appleton".
