This is a great little book. Very easy to read and explains the humanist approach to morality and ethics in everyday life. The author has plenty of situations in which her advice is to 'run for the hills', which is quite a nice running gag (no pun intended). It's aimed at the younger reader (teen to early adulthood), arming them with a simple philosophy for leading a happy life full of meaningful experiences, without getting hurt, or hurting others along the way. But there's plenty left over too for us older readers.

I have been very fortunate in being able to read an advanced copy of Jen's book. It is superb. I can't recommend it highly enough. It fills a need in the market that has been neglected for far too long. Every school and college library should have at least one copy. It is too valuable to leave off the school library shelf. Buy your school a copy. - H. Hill, Director of the Secular Fellowship, Grief Counselor and Humanist Celebrant
