5.0 out of 5 stars Great Republic serial.
This is the second of Republic's rocket man serials but you don't have to have seen King of the Rocketmen to enjoy this. The plot is quite ludicrous which makes it all the more entertaining. The picture and sound quality are top notch for this type of release.

Enjoy!!

3.0 out of 5 stars whats left over in the props department
check the history out on google, if you like corny 'what's left over in the props department' rocket ships with springy office chairs, mock up planes with steering wheels, moon men in robes, Saturday morning cinema sequels then it's entertaining - loads of episodes, if you're in the mood and like to ask why would they do that then it makes a change from regular tv! Best...

4.0 out of 5 stars Over the Moon, 17 Sep 2013

This DVD arrived promptly. The quality of the film is excellent considering it's age. It's a fun way to pass a few hours. My self and my husband enjoyed a sci-fi that was not over the top and had a bit of a decent story to it. Would recommend to any one.

Roy Barcroft always play the villain so well and good to see him in this space adventure. Allan Rocky Lane would have made a good Flash Gordon.

shot entirely on earth this is actually a TV or Cinema series, would you believe? On the so called Moon they do wear oxygen masks, however. Perhaps it gets better later?

4.0 out of 5 stars Proof we are not alone, 15 Jan 2006

A mysterious set of explosions leaves Commander Cody to the conclusion that we are under attack from an unknown force. As we guessed from the title of the series it must be the "Radar Men from the Moon".

The series and should not be too violent for today's youngsters as most of the time everybody is just slugging each other and when they use guns they can't seem to hit anything other than other guns. If you're young enough this series is very suspenseful. Otherwise you spend most of your time thinking how dumb why didn't they do this or why didn't they do that. Anyway there is a lot of staying in the car scenes or stay in the Rocket ship scenes or don't fly to close scenes.

When will they ever learn?

The good guys consistently insist on being out numbered in fisticuffs and get the snot beat out of them every time; when will they ever learn? And we know why; if you listen closely you will recognize Clayton Moore (alias The Lone Ranger) with out his mask. Still they are persistent. Will it pay off and can Commando Cody save the day or will the bad moon leader Retik rule the Earth?
