Wow!

As the other reviewer said, it's been a long time coming but well worth the wait. This needs to be listened to as a whole record as the album has a real ebb and flow to it and the track ordering works brilliantly and there is a good balance of catchy singles and slower, brooding album tracks. Rising Sea and Curtain Falling stand out for the singles whilst Flickering Light and Dog Barking at the Moon provide a brilliant opener and closer.

This is my favourite record of the year so far.

I have been waiting for this album for ages!!! like years! It's finally arrived and it really is more than I'd hoped for. I ususally like a few songs of an album and think the rest just filler but this record is a work of art! From start to finish it's just epic pop with horns and bells - and the lyrics are really creative - best record I have heard in a long long time!

Will probably write a more indepth review when I have played it more! But so far...Brilliant!

I first came across TSDOLE in March 2010 when they supported the Editors and was so impressed that I bought 'Forward March' and the single 'Flagships & Angelou' at the gig. The first album is brilliant and this follow up does not disappoint. There isn't a duff song on the album. If original, unique, British, guitar bands are your cup of tea, I strongly recommend this album.

Rollicking, sing-a-long folk-rock in the best tradition of left-of-centre British bands. Highlights include the ever more climactic "Flagships" and the anthemic "Come On You Young Philosophers". Impossible to dislike, and manages to surpass 2007's excellent almost-an-album gem, FORWARD MARCH.

I love this record so much. I've had it a day, played three times and its not even lunch. I am compelled even to write on here while I order everything they have done. Its like being a teenager again. I haven't been as boyishly excited since I unwrapped The Wedding Presents' George Best.

This album reached every bit of my expectation. I hoped they would produce an album that held the energy and colour they possess on stage. They succeeded. A complete 5 star rating for their music and there beautiful artwork that goes with it.
