5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best!
I have been reading the New Frontier Series since it's inception and this is one of my favorites! This book continues where Book Nine left off only taking up with the stories on Selar, Burgoyne, Morgan, and Robin. An old Star trek favorite makes a suprise appearence much to the suprise of Robin and her mother and there are some great scenes between Selar and Burgy as...

I would reccomend this book to anyone.

Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Renaissance: Excalibur #2 (Star Trek: New Frontier) (Kindle Edition)
With all the bouncing around the series and the people of the Excalibur. Us need a flowchart to keep notes. But the is a good story in the ending

However, this can only work while it has one character of absolute detrermination and drive to pull them into some kind of a team. This is totally absent in this and the previous book. One book of aimless wandering is fine, but two is just self indulgent prattle.
I am perhaps being a little unfair. It does have some good points and the unexpected return of Scotty is always good to lighten the mood, but it lacks the punch of most of the books of this series.
