5.0 out of 5 stars A glitchy narrative from an 80's dream..., 17 Nov 2011
This review is from: Trademark Ribbons Of Gold (Audio CD)
The amount of ideas in each song is startling, and the first few listens of tracks like 'Franco Zoom to Nowhere' and 'Twitch of the Nerve' can be a little hard to take in. However there are some very fun and exciting moments on the album like 'Sunset Everett' that are an instant delight. The album contains lots of dance-floor worthy glitch 'n' beats but there is also a warm and borrowed nostalgia to be felt when Boards of Canada/James Ferraro style synthesized tones pang in the space between the headphones and your brain. A masterful record that evokes many emotions and gets your body moving.
