Immortal is a compilation of various short stories written by well known vampire/supernatural authors including: Rachel Caine, Kristin Cast, Claudia Gray, Nancy Holder, Tanith Lee, Richelle Mead, Cynthia Leitich Smith, and Rachel Vincent.

Haunted Love by Cynthia Leitich Smith - creates an unusual love triangle between a vampire, a ghost and a human girl in a small town.

Amber Smoke by Kristin Case - introduces a different kind of vampire who is involved in Greek mythology. He has the power to bend time and space to save a girl that he is meant to love.

Dead Man Stalking by Rachel Caine - tells a story from the point of view from Shane Collins a character in her Morganville series.

Table Manners by Tanith Lee - creates a story of a young girl who comes into contact with a misguided vampire.

Blue Moon by Richelle Mead - tells of a young vampire on the run from the rest of her kind and discovers feelings for the human who is driving the getaway care.

Changed by Nancy Holder - two best friends are forced to make a choice that may kill them both.

Binge by Rachel Vincent - tells a story in a new corner of her Soul Screamers universe with a siren.

Free by Claudia Gray - takes us to New Orleans 1841 where a young women is courted by a pale, young man he seems dangerous.

Each of the stories is very different so there is a lot a variety to read in one book. I think my favourite was Free by Claudia Gray, I loved the old-time setting. The other stories are very good and worth reading.
Anyone who is a fan of vampire/supernatural romance but sometimes gets tired of a dragging storyline this is perfect for you.

I loved the book.
The comperlation of 'short' stories was very good, and very well put together.
The only thing i didn't like was they were to short, all of them should be extended.

Pleased I read this book, some of the stories I found gripping and wished they went on for longer. Enjoyed the different writing styles and story lines... It's a shame they're only short stories :(
Will find out which authors I liked best and will give their full novellas a go!! Not a book to be missed.

Rachel Vincent writes a very good stories that don't disappoint in any way, in fact the way she writes makes you want to continue reading more and more of her stories as she combines fantasy with modern day life that shouldn't work, yet it does and leaves you wanting to read more of her stories.
