2.0 out of 5 stars One good film, one not so bad. Quality of the package is poor.
DVD package review:
-12 films from Crown International Pictures over 3 discs
-NTSC
-Other than Liar's Moon, all films were 4x3 HOWEVER, all films (again, other than Liar's Moon) had the edges missing. This was noticeable from the credit sequences, where the first and last letters of names and titles were often cut off. This is not because I had my TV set in...

Kidnapping of the president. 1980. William Shatner in an action thriller.
Young graduates. 1971 Young adults and the love generation.
Road to Nashville. 1967. A country music jamboree with 60 artists featured.
Indian paint. 1965. Western with injuns about a boy and his hoss.
African safari. 1968. True story of an expedition.
Santee. 1973. Glenn Ford as a bounty hunter.
The specialist. 1975. Adam West crime drama.
All 12 films were released by Crown International and it's a mixture of genres. It's pretty good entertainment, great value especially as some of the individual releases command high prices and most importantly the picture quality is very good.
USA Release Region 1.

This is not because I had my TV set in the wrong mode or anything - I put it onto 4x3 mode and still the edges were missing off the films.
-Image quality - varies per film but overall is acceptable. However, of all the films, I enjoyed Almost Hollywood the most but the disc was faulty and I had to watch the last 15 minutes with it skipping and jumping an pixelating.
-Sound quality - apart from sound differences on the actual films, several of my discs had sound glitches on them, as if the DVD's were faulty. This was a minor issue.

Brief review of the films:
African Safari - Boring documentary
Almost Hollywood - Best of the bunch, funny and enjoyable to watch
Deathrow Gameshow - Quite watchable and funny in parts but not great overall.
Indian Paint - A dire family film about Indians
The Kidnapping of the President - Some familiar faces pop up in this unbelievably long and drawn out bore fest.
Liar's Moon - The most professional of the lot but way too long and padded out.
My Mom's a Werewolf - Started out well but lost momentum after the first 20 minutes or so.
Road to Nashville - Didn't bother to watch this one.
Santee - Ditto
Secret File: Hollywood - Bad. Really, really bad.
The Specialist - The second best film of the lot. Funny characters and some funny lines. The last 30 minutes ruins it though.
The Young Graduates - again, another long and drawn out film with not much going on.
