Not a Class 4 Card!,

This review is from: Kingston Class 4 16GB Micro SDHC card (Personal Computers)
I tested the SD card with 3 or 4 performance tools. All give a 2.5 to 3 write-read speed. I am really not satisfied with the cards' performance. No problem with the capacity or stability. But the performance is really low....

Cautious to find the fastest, biggest microSD for reasonable money, this Class 4 Kingston chip is brilliant value for money and works superbly in my HTC Desire. Adapter was sent for the larger format SD also which was a bonus. And still not seen anything for better value since!

This review is from: Kingston Class 4 16GB Micro SDHC card (Personal Computers)
I bought this for my Orange San Francisco smart phone, having read several reports of problems with different makes of micro-SD card. This worked exactly as designed and has given no problems in the month it has been installed.

I got this 16GB Micro SD for my HTC Desire as it originally only came with a 4GB Micro SD and I wanted one with a greater capacity to store apps, music and videos. Having had a class 2 SD before, I wanted a class 4 this time - I sometimes found a lag when skipping tracks or watching videos on the old class 2 SD. With this one however, there is no lad whatsoever, whether I'm skipping or playing music tracks, loading high quality videos, or installing/uninstalling apps. The popular Sandisk 16GB Micro SD (http://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-16GB-microSDHC-Memory-Card/dp/B002NTP06K/ref=pd_cp_computers_1) is approximately he same price at the time of this review, but that one is class 2, not class 4 like this one. I fully recommend this one.

Slowest MicroSD card, ever?,
By Sam Brown (England) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Kingston Class 4 16GB Micro SDHC card (Personal Computers)
I bought this card as an upgrade from a SanDisk 8GB Class 2 MicroSD as I needed the extra space. The read and write speeds of this Kingston card are abysmal for Class 4, my SanDisk runs rings around it. I've tried various formatting tools, MicroSD adapters, etc, but nothing I do can make this card move any faster. I haven't gotten round to actually 'using' the card yet, as transferring all my data over to it has taken all day. I dread to think what it'll be like in my phone... I've given it 2 stars, because it at least registers in the computer as 16GB...

Does what it says it does which is always good. I can be a tiny bit more helpful to you if you are deciding whether or not to buy this product by saying I bought this for my Samsung i5500 android phone and it works perfectly with it.

superb speed,
This review is from: Kingston Class 4 16GB Micro SDHC card (Personal Computers)
This is my at least 4th micro SD card, claimed as class 4. I have to say the speed of this card is awsome, very good value for the money. Btw using for my Nokia N97(speed probably doesnt matter), but it make big difference when card inserted in card reader in my laptop. Recommended!
