I wanted a good quality printer that wasn't too big and could do A3 printing. This printer is perfect for what I need as I run a business from home and some of my clients are still using fax. The ability to print via email is very heful and setting it up to my home network wad a breeze.
The print quality is very good even for photos. Not as good as a 6 colour printer, but unless you are really fussy, it will not disappoint. Presentatoon printing is certainly good enough.
I haven't used the A3 scan and stitch sofware that comes with it, as I prefer to use the Adobe Photoshop I have on my PC/laptop.
The self feed copy/fax facility is very good and hasn't skidded or produced any crooked copies.
Overall, I am delighted with it so far.

Seems to do the job well. Bought the 7500A A3 printer/ A4 fax/ A4 to A3 scanner as I wanted the ability to print A3, it also states that it scans A3 but this is achieved by stitching 2 x A4 scans together with the supplied software although I have not used this yet. The fax took me a little while to set up but this was more due to our office telecoms than the machine and happy to say it has made our old faithful stand alone fax redundant, freeing up some space by not having separate fax & printer. Quality is good for normal office applications and I have not experienced multiple sheets being picked up as I had read on other reviews for this machine. If it carries on like it has I will be very happy and I do believe that HP build quite robust printers. Only down side is the price of genuine HP inkjet cartridges.

After trying several brands, I have now settled on HP as making the most reliable printers, with the highest output quality. The only fly in the ointment, of course, is the obscene cost of cartridges. Volume for volume the ink costs more than the best champagnes! Now, we know they sell the machines cheap so as to profit through cartridge sales, but this is scandalous: treating your customers with contempt. Let's remember, they claim to be environmentally conscious, too; but junking a plastic cartridge and its mountains of packaging every few millilitres makes no sense at all. It's business models like this one that give private industry a bad name.

Easy to set up, have it linked to three computers at the moment. All on BT Wireless. Someone wrote that they couldn't connect one of these to BT Wireless but I bought it all the same knowing that some people complain about an item when it's they who haven't quite got the hang of setting it up.
The ink cartridges that come with it appear to be 'sample' ones, or at least slightly smaller than the ones that would be bought from the shops so I'm expecting them not to last too long.
The print looks sharp and clear so seems it was a good buy from Amazon.

Bought this for the A3 and wireless capacity. We have Macs and the wireless kept not working so have resorted to an ethernet wire. However, it now doesn't print even with the wire. Keep having to reboot printer and my laptop. Wasted so much time and spent a lot on having my computer engineer out to try to fix it. Have an HP 2600 and used it for 8 years - incredibly reliable and good quality. HP, why can't you create an up to date model of this? Every morning I worry whether it's going to work or is on its little mission to make my life hell.

I know that this is not the best printer in the world; after all it has many features for its price. Better quality printers that have the same features cost quite a bit more. I also know that other people complain about software incompatibility and paper jams. I have had a paper jam on the printer I have just bought. I use CAD systems too and I know that many CAD systems have problems of software incompatibility with printers. Also, I do not understand why people complain about the scanner feature for A3 paper, having to scan the paper in two halves and then the software stitches them together. If the scanning bed was A3 size it would be an enormous printer.

I would give this printer a 3 star rating but I am giving it 4 stars because the HP technical support team have gone out of their way to help me solve a fault message the printer gave me when installing it. I think they are aware of the complaints multiplying in the Internet and they are trying to keep new buyers happy by providing a quick response to the problems we file in their system.

We use our Hp 7500A printer/scanner for home use, ie infrequently. We're on our 3rd printer, after returnng the previous 2 with faulty printer heads. The printers are brilliant, until they go wrong, from my experience thats about 2 months from new!

This printer is fantastic.... It does everything a printer should do, plus loads more! The e-print facility is great, and the ablity to print from templates etc without having a computer switched on is brilliant.
Print quality is impressive, and its surprisingly quiet.
Copying facility is good. Its really smple to use - you just put the sheet in the feeder, and press the button, you don't even have to lift the top. Likewise for scanning.
It took hardly any time at all to set it up on my wireless network, and works seamlessly printing from all devices (pc's, laptops, ipod, ipad, phones, memory card etc ec)
I have never thought it possible for a printer to have so many features! and it's the first printer that I have been able to "play with" for ages without having a device attached to it. You can edIt photo effects before you print them, you can even print puzzles via the hp e-print centre! The only thing most other printers can do is print a test page, or photos from an sd card!
I can just randomly email things straight to my printer from anywhere in the world, and it'll be there nicely printed, waiting for me when I get home!
The only thing I have not used yet is the fax facility, so I can't comment on that, though I have gone through the motions as such, but without the final "send" - and again there are preloaded fax header sheets on board as well!
Highly recommend this printer! It is so much more than just a printer, but be sure to get it on your network to take full advantage of all the features!
Note to technophobes: do not be put off by the fact that this marvellous machine can do so much - it really isn't complicated to use!
Nuff said..... I'm off to play with my printer now...!

I was really excited about buying this printer. The details on the website said it scanned up to A3 as well as printing A3, however on arrival it clearly was an A4 scanner on an A3 printer. The details on the page I selected the printer from didn't specify that it was an A4 scanner at all. I returned the printer and bought a Brother MFCJ610DW instead which has both A3 scanning and A3 printing for a similar price, and I'm so far very pleased with this.

I have had this printer for about a month now and can say that it produces great results at A3 and A4 size - it is fast and quite quiet for this type of printer. The only problems I had were in setting up the eprint (eprinting was one of the main reasons for the purchase) it took several days before I found the answers to the problems on one of the many web sites for disgruntled eprint users - I thiKn HP need to do more work on this!
