I didn't expect much of these, as in my experience the cheaper a set of headphones is, the greater the decline in sound & manufacturing quality. I was pleasantly surprised by these. They are proper noise canceling 'phones. I tested these at nearly full volume; no noise leakage (until, obviously, you take them off your ears. Then, everyone within a 10ft radius can hear that you're listening to Ice, Ice Baby).

While these are not professional standard, they're perfectly fine for commuting, in the office, flights, etc.

Lookswise, the color runs true (I bought turquoise), and they look very clean & simple.

A couple of other reviewers have noted that these are very tight; they're right, they are. To the point where your ears feel a little tender after a certain period of time. A reviewer said these loosened up after a little time and I'm hoping mine do the same (FYI, the circumference of my head is 56cm, or 22.04 inches...).

These are of a decent sound quality for their price, and excellent for use with an mp3 player or iPod. If you've not had a set like this before you might be pleasantly surprised at the range of frequencies over which you can hear, and also that you can distinguish more individual sounds simultaneously.

There is one thing that you should be aware of that I had to deal with: the jack is a TRRS jack, so it has three black bands going around it, rather than the two of TRS jacks. This will probably be great for most good devices that are up-to-date (I tried them on a friend's [very old] iPod and they worked great), but some devices might not cope with TRRS jacks. There is a fix - when the microphone button is pressed in the sound is exactly as it should be. My mp3 player has this problem and I fixed it by holding down the little button with a clever sticky tape combination. Not ideal, but this is down more to my mp3 player not being TRRS compatible than a problem with the headphones.

The padding for the ears is quite good but perhaps some more expensive headphones would be more comfortable again.

These headphones have the best sound quality by far, I'd even rather these over some 200 pound paid of Dr Dre Beats. They have great bass and are very clear. Be warned they can be very uncomfortable to wear for any longer than 30 minutes. They tend to break easy too, I've had 3 pairs of them BUT They have all been replaced free of charge as the Company states in the manual.

So if you like great sounding headphones for a bargain then get these but don't complain about the comfort.

Both my teenage sons have these headphones and they do the job. They have tried others which don't work so well. Really good value for money and nice bright colours. My eldest son 15 has had his for about 3 years and they are still working brilliantly. I have just had to replace my 14 year olds who manage to break his after ripping the wires out while dancing too energetically round his bedroom! I replaced with the same as have been so happy with their quality and my son still likes them. That is testament to itself that a teenager still likes the style and function 3 years on.

I bought these as a gift and knew that Coloud were good value for money. Arrived promptly, well packaged and did not disappoint. Sound quality on a par with those brands which cost considerably more

I am very careful with my tech items and do not drop or knock them around, however after 1 months general use, the head band that supports the headphones broke and I was unable to repair it.

Prior to these headphones breaking, i though that the build and sound quality was great...especially for the price.

Unfortunately they just weren't built to last :(

I would recommend these headphones to everyone. I liked the product because they are small and fashionable, the sound quality is far better than the ipod style of headphones which fall out your ears. Loved them.

Bought these as an alternative to UrbanEars headphones and ended up just buying the UrbanEars. These broke within a few months of purchase and as I had moved house I was not able to find the original box therefore not able to get a replacement.

The headphones are way too tight. I used them in the library and could not use them for more than a couple hours as I would get earache and a headache.

Too tight on your head, feels like a child's pair of headphones. Wasn't long until the cushioned parts were falling off as well.

A Bit disappointed
