4.0 out of 5 stars It's all about the right attitude
The story of the football obsessed (and I mean obsessed!) dragon and how he turned his life around. Well, where to begin a review? With other reviews, I think. Some people have slated this book for not being the business book they somehow thought it was. I have to disagree with them completely. Enter the Dragon is not billed as a business book. It's a book by a very...

2.0 out of 5 stars Good if you like Football
I really wanted to like this book.. but I didn't.

It's not what I wanted it to be, I wanted it to be about Theo's business life, with his companies such as La Senza and Rymans, but it was 60% about his time at Millwall.

I don't like football, I like business, so it did nothing for me.

Shame because he's a talented businessman but you don't...

Not a bad book but would have been a lot better if it was more in depth about his lifestyle and business plans / deals.

Putting the gripes about the football section to one side, this is Theo's story so he has the say about how it's written. Okay, it skips about a bit, but isn't that what happens when someone is talking about their life? Alright, perhaps the ghost-writer could have spent a bit more time putting things in order (or maybe Theo was the writer), but all in all this is an entertaining read. Imagine a millionaire telling you about how it happened for him, this is it!

Outstanding, interesting, informative, gripping, a great story and lots of lessons. Worth every penny.

In fact its so good I'd have paid double the price. Paphitis has missed a trick....he could have made much more money than he has from this book.

All of the reviews on here must not be regular business book readers, and who have stuck purely to the dragons den business books
(actually they are all repeat readers of the various DD books ,you'll notice if you scroll through their reviews) ,because this is not a good business book at all and its undeserving of its high praises.....
Theo is a Wind-Bag, a financially well off one, but still a Wind-Bag.....
He says at the start of the book that he hates to read books that start off telling you about the author being born in whatever place and on whatever date....
And then he proceeds to tell you when and where he was born!!!!!
He is not a good writer, and you cant help but feel that with the four people on the show seeing that the person beside them was writing a book, they decided it was a good idea for them to have one too.
