This review is from: Samsung BX2250 22 inch widescreen Series 50 LED Monitor (5000000:1, 250cd/m2, 1920 x 1080, 5ms, VGA, HDMI (Charcoal Grey)) (Personal Computers)
Firstly .. I'm super critical of screens.. Before settling on my current Lcd tv of a few years i bought and returned a few..
Being more than aware of problems such as clouding & light Bleed with LCD technology i was expecting to be sending this monitor back within a couple of days of recieving it.. i really am fussy..
However after much searching & review reading i decided to opt for this Samsung BX2250 Monitor to replace the old CRT Monitor of 14 inches or so that came with our 6 Year old PC..
I have seen many LCD Monitors belonging to friends etc & though impressed have not been blown away... So have been a very late converter to LCD Monitors
After biting the bullet and ordering this monitor i connected it up & waited for night time to turn off the lights & check the screen for Clouding / Lightbleed problems .. I'm not one of those people who complains because the screen looks funny or washed out from a side angle as of course that's normal..(Though of course this monitor can address that) :-)
I just tilted the screen back a little and looked at it straight on and guess what.. Even after hours of use.... No Problems... Just a nice Uniform & evenly lit screen when viewing a pure black test picture screen.. :-)
It was typically very bright out of the box so for general use i have it toned down to the Preset MagicBright Standard setting But will be using brighter custom settings when editing photo's
All in all i'm pleasantly surprised & very impressed with this Monitor & can easily recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Samsung BX2250 LED Display an Excellent Monitor, 25 May 2011
This review is from: Samsung BX2250 22 inch widescreen Series 50 LED Monitor (5000000:1, 250cd/m2, 1920 x 1080, 5ms, VGA, HDMI (Charcoal Grey)) (Personal Computers)
I have had this monitor for two months and it is the best monitor ever had. Quality of LED screen is different with my previous Samsung LCD monitor.
I had read few good reviews but using it is a different experience. I highly recommend this monitor and Amazon price was unbeatable when I purchased it.

The screen and design is a display of science and art. Does what it says on the tin and I like that. Good value for money. The only drawback is that the buttons are toooo sensitive. I keep hitting the switches now and then, but thats not a tragedy..

5.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor for the price, 28 Mar 2011

I bought this to go with my Mac Mini, and it's ideal for the job.

It comes with a HDMI to DVI cable, so you should be able to connect it to whatever kit you have (has VGA and 2 HDMI ports on the rear of panel)

The only annoyances are the stickers and logos round the edge, and also its quite fiddly to adjust the angle of the screen, but it's fine once you've set it to the right angle. There is no height adjustment.

The picture is good, and the screen is matte and therefore doesn't act like a mirror!
