The premise was presumably a film about a dog who solves crimes, hence the name. Unfortunetly SPOILERS, the dog gets hit by a car early on and dies and spends the rest of the film as a ghost. Im not kidding. The plot, ludicrous as it is, revolves around the kids and his friend trying to solve his dads murder and being led to clues by the aforementioned dog, That is, in between awkward trips to the his dads grave, or staring at his dads old police uniform hanging in the cupborad. If you have had a recent loss in the family, human or pet, this film is probably not for you, additionally, if you like your kids and dont want them to bored, horrified or completely dumbfounded by this non sencicle mess, then I'd advice a film that doesn't have the word dog in the title, trust me, its not a mark of quality, more a mark of laziness and lack of originality.
