The story line is good - I have also read Book 3 and will probably read next book. However more care over spelling and grammar would enhance the author and probably bring better reviews. It is a real pity more care has not been taken proof reading. Maybe Book 4 will show improvement.

...to a story that carries you to another time and place and lets you escape the pressures and stresses of everyday life. I felt connected with the characters and looking forward to each twist and turn of the story to come.

just as before, the second book has too many grammar errors for me to ignore, the author really needs to watch how he repeats words unecessarily.
The story has all the hallmarks of a good sword and sorcery tale but its let down by the syntax.
For gods sake get a better proof reader Mr williams!

Having read the first book I had hoped the second was better edited but sadly no. A real disappointment as the story was good but ruined by terrible grammar and spelling.

Having just finished reading the 2nd book, I'm just about to start on the 3rd.
So far, I have really enjoyed reading what, for me, is a new author and am more than happy to recommend him to others who are interested in this genre of novel.
As has been mentioned in previous reviews, I, too, have found the lack of attention to spelling and grammar a bit frustrating and jarring, at times. However, I'm not sure whether or not this 'fault' is the author's or if it has more to do with the publishers, i.e. Kindle, as I've encountered much the same misuse or misspelling of words and poor grammar in other 'books' I've downloaded.
Having said that, the author has managed to keep me riveted and I'm eager to continue following Flare's journey, even though it is now 12.05a.m.
To finish, I'd simply like to say "Thank you!" and "Congratulations!" to Christopher Williams for helping me to pass many contented hours lost in fantasy.

I would like, but I am not allowed, to write an extremely short review. "Can we have the next book please." Is what I would say to R R M. Would he listen? No he's gone and written a modern crime thriller. Grrrr!

I have read the first three books & although the story line & details are good please get a better proof reader for book four! All three books are littered with spelling mistakes & incorrectly used words which is a shame as it does put you off a bit but, on the whole it's worth trying to ignore them & enjoy the story.

I enjoyed reading this book so much so that I just could not put it down. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading Fantasy novels.

Like so much of this genre it needed a good editor. Much repetition and tedious travelling to little import. Vols two and three together could have made a better book.
