These are my 1nd timex watch and I'm impressed. They are bigger than I thought they going to be and they look great for [].
I wanted watch which I could take to gym and swimming pool and sauna. These are 50m water resist which should be more than enough for that. (I used my casio splash proof watches for diving up to 35m in Red sea and they were OK).
They got indiglo light which is great for nightime and the numbers are more than 1cm big so very easy to see time even bleary eyed in the middle of the night.
All in all very satisfied.

Im a serving member of the forces and an avid distance runner. This watch is ideal for me as it is robust for the military side of life and looks OK too. It also does very well for my running watch as the screen and digits are large. Not only that but you do not need to have the watch face exactly parallel to viewing in order to get a good display of the digits. Also handy is the notch in the buckle which helps to hold the strap perfectly in place! I am deploying to Afghan in a few weeks and will only be taking one watch, this one!

I've recently been ill and I'm trying to get my stamina back. So getting out and cycling for a few hours, playing tennis for 10 minutes a day etc is my thing just now. I use the watch to time how long I've been going for so not to tire myself out.

Now this watch is a really good watch for this purpose! It features an alarm, a timer and a count down feature, making it ideal.

Great watch for £25. Plus everyone says to me that its a nice looking watch.

I was looking for a watch primarily for sailing but which could also be used in the gym or when out jogging. I had seen the previous favourable reviews for this watch and the overall opinion that it was a bargain at the price. The watch seemed to have all the features I required; large display, countdown facility for sailing races and it was waterproof. Be clear, this is not a diving watch. I ordered it and I have to say it looks much better than the photo. Its a big watch and the black/gold finish looks great. The display is excellent and very easy to read; the functions work perfectly and its nice having two time zones for when you are on holiday. I can't say how reliable the watch will be in the long run, but I used it on a recent beach activity holiday (lots of water and sand) and the watch is working fine. I have to agree that at this price, the watch is a bargain.

Beat watch for running and sports in general. Clear to read and simple to program. Large numbers help those of us over 40!

Simply a great product and very keenly priced making it good value. Just the right amount of functions, dispensing with those you would probably never use. The display is bright, clear and large enough to read whilst running which is important to me. Very comfortable to wear. Would I recommend it? Yes I would. Would I replace it with a similar Timex product in the future? Yes I would.

Was very impressed with the quality of this watch upon opening the box.
Watch is big & chunky & certainly looks more expensive than the £21 that I paid for it.
Functions include stopwatch, countdown timer, dual time, alarm, hourly chime & the great indiglo light function.
If you're looking for a cheapish multifunction sports watch, I would definitely go for this one !

I work in engineering and needed an inexpensive simple watch that could take punishment and looked good. Hey Presto, found it. I'm not much interested in the timer, stopwatch etc, I just want something that will tell me what time it is. I even had someone compliment me on it the other day. He thought it must be very expensive and was surprised when I disillusioned him.

17/9/2013.

11 months after purchase condensation has begun to appear inside the case. I'm not too impressed with that in a watch meant to be water resistant to a depth of 50 metres, and have amended my rating accordingly. No doubt some will think a watch as inexpensive as this can't be expected to last more than one year. I don't agree.

Wanted a watch strictly for the outdoors, - cycling, running, trekking. Did not quite want to (and could not understand why I should) pay a fortune for a watch that might end be the first thing to break when I fall off my bike. And with this Timex Sport Marathon, I got exactly what I wanted. It looks neat and tidy. Even a little owith the buttons well positioned and of good size. The display is neat, easy to read, and the operation is simple. The tiny numbers round the face do not get in the way at all. The little pimple that locks the excess strap in place is very clever. Well done Timex; good job Amazon.
