I received this item today, only two days after ordering. When I received it, I tried it out but I found the water dripped out too slowly, so when I come to use it, it will be easier and quicker for me to unscrew the bottle from the tray and just pour some water into it. However, I do think it is excellent value for money. Bargain!!! :)

Really good idea and exactly what we needed for long walks.It is very easy to use in the car or on a walk ... I would like to see bigger bottle and also a ice or cooling attatchment to improve this product.

This product is supplied with an attached man-made cord which is looped through a hole at the apex of the "Dog Drinker" tray, however the cord is not shown in the Amazon image. One would assume a cord of this nature is an addition to assist only in the transportation of a product such as this, sadly though this cord serves another purpose which is to stop the bottle from leaking. If you were to carry the "Dog Drinker" by the cord it will remain in a vertical position and will not leak through the outlet. Try inverting the bottle and it will drip very quickly, making it unsuitable for packing in a rucksack etc.
To get any water into the tray you must squeeze the bottle, have patience when doing so as the hole in the valve is so small it will only allow a small quantity of water to pass at any one time.
So far I have only mentioned negative points about this product, but the product does have benefits e.g. the fact that it has a handy integral drinking tray as opposed to pouring water through your hand whilst spilling most of it.

CONLUSION :

If you are going a long way, then take an ordinary water bottle that won't leak. If you are going for a short walk on a hot summer morning then take the "Dog Drinker"

This a a very clever product and saves taking separate drinking bowls and water bottles. My puppy drank from the container with no problems and I take it with me all the time now.

Not a good buy I'm afraid broke on the first use and leaked to, but for the money it's not too much of a loss.

didn't use it for water yet, but my puppy is playing with the bottle and especially with the string all the time, so it's to kill 2 birds with 1 stone really

Thought this would be a great idea for travelling with the dog, but how wrong was I. The top part of the bottle broke just after us only using it the once so I would not recommend this product. Better to pay a dearer price and get better quality.

Considering I only paid 1p for this "I was robbed", even if we still had a smaller value coin such as a groat, I would have still have been unhappy. Obviously the seller makes his profit from his extortionate delivery charge of nearly £3, probably because they would then only have to refund 1p if people returned it. I ordered two as it seemed like a good product.......... wrong! it is a cheap drinks bottle that leaks all over the place if not kept upright. Of the two I bought one arrived with a broken top so was totally useless, I did take a picture of it and send it to the vendor with a note saying he should check his other stock, but to date I have received no reply or even an acknowledgment, so I suppose it sums up this sellers attitude to business. Honestly don't waste your money, it seems like a good idea until you see it, just take two 500ml drinks bottles, cut the top off one and then cut it lengthways in half. It will press up against the side of the one you fill with water and then fit easily into your pocket to be used as the drinking dish when required and it wont leak!

this is such a handy product , as I can carry it on summer walks with my dog ,I am very happy with it
