Bought this camera and immediately was impressed about the build quality and look of the camera. Was even better when i actually started taking pictures with it. Amazing detail, great screen, fantastic battery life on Duracell Plus batteries. It's also easy to use, my 4 year old niece was snapping away with it all night! I'll be buying her 1! It will take up to an 8GB Memory card too! Definately worth the money, i paid a bit more for mine and don't regret it 1 bit. Buy It!

In the box you get a USB lead and 2 Duracell Batteries.
They last a reasonable amount of time too.

This is to replace an older model Samsung I had,
and the interface is virtually the same.

Good Quality photographs, and video with sound.
I use it to record a lot of gigs.
just be careful when zooming in and out as it cuts the audio.

and have you seen the price for this? its a Bargain.

the camera is easy to handle, value for money,I was impressed by the clarity of some of the pictures in day light shots, however, its not the best for taking night shot or in dim lighting, that area need to be improved.

The last camera I owned was with film and about 40 years ago. I wanted something that was easy to use but of high quality without being too expensive. The Samsung ES25 certainly fits the bill. The full manual at around 96 pages seems a little daunting but, until you get used to all the little tweaks that are offered, the fact remains that you can simply point the Samsung, let it look after itself automatically, and it does a good job. In short, you don't have be anything like an expert to use it. I've yet to know long batteries last - the initial ones didn't last long but I was playing around a lot with flash. I'll eventually buy re-chargeables. But, with a mere £10 SD card added the capacity of around 2000 12MP pictures is amazing.

I was looking for a DSLR camera as I am a keen amateur photographer however as I lost my last camera and can't afford a DSLR at this time this was my choice. For the price you pay it is fantastic. You have a completely auto mode which selects everything for you. You can select what scene you want in the program mode or there is a manual mode which lets you select everything yourself. You have the nice wideangle lense, 12.2 MP and 4x digital zoom. Obviously if you are a professional photographer then you may find a few faults. There is smile detection, blink detection (if the camera recognises that the subject has their eyes closed it will automatically take another photo) Self portrait mode, when you have the camera pointing towards you it will beep to let you know when your face is in view. I love it. I am even considering not buying a DSLR now I have this.

i have not had a camera for years!!! this one is so easy to use and light to carry. that it goes everywhere with me. easy to down load on to the computer. easy peasy.

This little camers is pure dead brilliant. The zoom control takes a bit of getting used to, but otherwise it is a little gem. I particularly like the AA batteries, the wide angle lens, compact size, and simple review system. I often use it in preference to my SLR>

My daughters bought me this camera for xmas and I loved it and used it regularly, unfortunately it has now developed a fault it will not power up and the lens does not pop out anymore, I have tried a variety of batteries with no joy. I have had the camera 12 months and would have expected it to last longer. I am very disappointed with this product.

I bought this camera for my daughter for Christmas and by the end of January it had developed the 'not switching on' problem that seems to have been an issue for several people with this camera.
Nice little compact camera which works great, while it works, which may not be very long!

I got this camera back in december for my Girlfriend as one of her Christmas presents. I wanted to make sure that she had something compact but would also produce good night-out pictures. So far it has not failed us yet. It has taken some very humerous pictures for us and they have all come out in great quality.

I would recommend to everyone that they most definitely need to buy some rechargeable batteries and a decent 4GB or 8GB SD card, the higher the class the better.

To anyone who is thinking of getting a pocket/bag camera for nights out or just general picture taking and it's not at too high of a price then this camera is for you!
