I have been using Kaspersky Internet Security for several years, so when my current licence was due to expire, it seemed appropriate to replace with the same item that I have always been comfortable with. It was Ordered from Amazon on a Sunday evening, and arrived the following Tuesday morning. Very efficient. Installation of the new product couldn't have been simpler, and was completed in a few minutes. One clever aspect of the renewal is that you can install the new one at any time in advance, as the new 12 month licence does not begin until the actual date the old version expires.
The new interface seems more user friendly than previous editions, and altogether I am again extremely happy with my purchase. I needed something I could rely on to give me Internet security, and to operate quietly in the background without taking control of the computer, and this fits the bill.
Although it is possible to make numerous adjustments to the various settings, and configurations to your own personal requirements, I am not that technically minded, and have left it to run in mostly default mode.
I have always had every confidence in Kaspersky Security systems and the 2011 edition is no exception.
It is strongly recommended, and I am sure you won't be disappointed.

This is my second year using this Kaspersky Internet Security product, and I am still satisfied with it. A comment on upgrade / buy a new copy though; after a full 6 weeks of being prompted to renew my licence as "my databases are out of date and my security may be compromised" [come on, it's not an episode of Spooks ] I checked out the current single PC price on the Kaspersky homepage. Don't just click on 'renew subscription', Amazon was £20 cheaper, even with postage [usual great Amazon service, ordered Sunday, install Tuesday] .
The installation was fine and straightforward, although it took me about an hour to update the databases ( poor 2Mb download speed). I would follow the recommendation to uninstall any previous version / security product though.
The interface has been streamlined, and it works well as a default product out of the box. However, I work in tech,and feel confident in customising the settings but my husband [an electronic engineer]commented the other day that he finds it hard to use. The best feature was the full product auto update 11.0.1.400 version about 2 weeks after I had initially installed. I have used Norton, McAfee and F Secure products, but this is the one I would recommend for general home use: not too intrusive, reliable default settings, fast virus scan and updates and competively priced if you shop around.

Good product at a very good price...cheaper than renewing on line direct with Kaspersky. Useful having the CD as backup

This is the second year I have had Kaspersky internet Security on my lap-top and I have never had a single problem from any type of internet virus or unwanted spy ware of any kind. An excelent product...easy to install and use.

I bought this software about a month ago and have been very pleased with the purchase (especially with the new discount). The interface and layout are clear and easy to use with specific advanced options for those of us who like to know what's really going on... Simple gadget button (round green circle) on your desktop page lets you know any problems with viruses etc. as is colour sensitive, eg. if it is red, you have a problem. Has a lot of random scans automatically to pick up dodgy files as well as full computer scan/critical (drag and drop certain files/folders) scanning available. It even starts an automatic scan on any USBs you plug in (but can change settings on this as becomes annoying). New features include a virtual keyboad (can be brought on screen by Ctrl, Alt, Shift and P) which enables you to type and passwords/bank account numbers safely preventing viruses from picking these up. All in all, a great product. The fact that it is internet security means that it encompasses antivirus software as well as other bits of software (firewalls, parental control etc.) to block things on your computer.

After 18 months of using Windows Live One Care Security Suite and after a recommendation from a freind i thought i'd try using Kaspersky Internet Security, and since the start i've found no problems, it does the job, nothings got through, in no way does it slow my system down and basicly i wouldn't no it was there, i'd recommend it.

A very nice security program. Very light compared to 2010 version. I am very satisfied.

i have been using Kaspersky internet sucurity for a number of years now and i have had no problems so i have been very happy to continue to do so, the software is very easy to load and set up and it updates itself every couple of hours so there is not much for me to do so as i said very happy with the results of this new software.

Already used Kaspersky for a year and it seemed to work well, and i have no doubts in this version either cheap as well compared to other retailers.

The sale went perfectly item came in a 5 days although it was cheapest delivery option I have been buying this product yearly and this was the 3rd new version I brought
I have low RAM ( 1gb) and it does take a while to to get started and it is very RAM heavy which does tend to slow down PC but I am used to that. Having said all this I have not had any virus issues or the like.
