Most beautiful watch on the planet
on 4 March 2013
A truly beautiful watch, very feminine, the mother of pearl face is particularly beautiful, discreet yet with a hint of colour - a refreshing change from the usual single tone colour watch faces. Solidly built, great craftsmanship, with a certain weight to it giving the impression of quality yet not too heavy, important as it's a woman's watch. The hands on the watch are a beautiful shape and glow in the dark. Above all I'm looking forward to not having to ever put a battery in!
The downside has been that the date is really small so I find it hard to read and I still haven't worked out how to put the month right - if there's less than 31 days in the month I'm winding it forward manually to get the date right which meant going round the 24 hours 3 times to get the 1st of March to come up!
The other downside, which is minor, has been getting the strap correctly adjusted to fit my wrist and involved 2 trips to a local jeweller. However I got it done for a good price after phoning all my local jewellers to see which one was the cheapest and prices for adjusting watch straps varied a lot, mainly between £5 and £10.
However it's a beautiful watch which I really love and keeps great time.
