A good solid surround sound system. Easy to set up and very clear and loud. Set up with sky hd and PS3 using optical splitter and so far has been brilliant.

Thank you Amazon for honouring your delivery pledges even in these rather extreme weather conditions, the unit arrived within the promised delivery dates.Well done everyone.

As for the product, after reading the other revues here, to say nothing of the excellent price for it, I can only repeat their satisfaction with this home theatre system. It is our first ever home theatre system, and are all absolutely delighted with it and have no reservations in recommending it whatsoever.Excellent value for money in my opinion. Well done LG. The only "disappointment" for me is the absence of a lady selling orange juice, peanuts and ice cream during intermission. We live in hopes!!!LOL.

I had completed some research and looked at other buyers reviews before purchasing this LG home cinema system. As always, Amazon price was by far the best. The large package arrived sooner than expected. I was very impressed by the high quality of the manufacturers packaging and the effort put in to make sure that there was not damage in transit. Once open and unwrapped, it was easy to follow the assembly instructions. I connected to my HD television with an HDMI lead and to the Sky box with an optic cable. The sub-woofer lives behind the television table out of sight, the centre speaker fits nicely between the DVD player and the Sky box and the two front speakers sit each side of the television table. The two rear speakers are located alongside, rather than behind, the main seating area.

There was no difficulty in setting up the system and the enjoyment of the sound quality has undoubtedly improved. It takes a little adjustment to hear sound from directions other than the television set and it can be a little distracting if voices appear from nowhere. However music CDs and music videos are considerably more enjoyable with the additional speakers.

I do have to turn down the television speakers when the surround sound is in use otherwise there is an echo that I cannot get rid of with "time-delay" adjustments. This is no hardship as there is plenty of sound coming from the speakers surrounding the television.

Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

outstanding performance. very stronge balanced surround sound. cheapest on amazon. Thanks to Amazon again. i have explored alot of shops and has seen alot of cinema system. but this one cought my eyes straight away and offcourse with this price you just cant go wronge.

Bought to go with LG 50PJ350 50-inch Widescreen HD Ready 600Hz Plasma TV.
This dvd player and home cinema kit works great.

Menus and remote are easy to get through, the sound is V Loud and clear, one remote controls tv and DVD or visa versa.

Build quality is good and speakers look great and shiney!!

Does the upscaling thing so normal DVD's play sharp on the HD TV.

I needed a surround system that looked great cheap and did the job for my front room and i came across this item on here, now i did do my research before buying and most reviews where great and so i took a punt on it. I ordered it for nexted day delivery and again amazon nor seller didn't fault on that promise and it was with me by 12:30pm nexted day! Once i had the package first thing i noticed was how well it was packaged up so no damaged could be caused during transit,ok there is alot of packaging once i got into it but it weren't that bad just make sure you have an empty bin before delivery. The system once i got it out looked great! with a black glossy finish and silver in printed LG markings on the dvd player and speakers just made it look alot better in my opinion.I got the system hooked up using the manual provided which was very easy with step by step instructions to follow you cant go wrong and then started it up, upon turning it on "WELCOME" message appears from the dvd player which looks good too. The sound is 850 watt output on this and i believe it! the sound quality is really good and the sub does the perfect job in handling the bass great but also you do get really good vocal from the 5.1 speakers which in my eyes is important and if you fiddle around with the settings it does seem alot louder. I have this item hooked up to my 42" LCD tv with built in free-view where also i use this surround sound system on that using the optical cable and the sound from the surround sound is the best ever! and HDMI cable for the dvds that i play and again films feel so much more realistic! People the price i payed for this item is a steal and you do get your moneys worth if you want a loud system then this will do that for you also it is really good looking and will look great in anybodys room. I give this the thumbs up and i am a very happy customer so thankyou guys at amazon!!!!

I purchased these to accompany my 50PK350 LG 50" plasma TV for in my bedroom and i am more than pleased with my decision.

First of all I'd like to point out that people needn't worry about cable length at all. The rear speakers cables were more than sufficient for a medium to large bedroom. Another thing to check before you buy is that you should check the sizes of the two front speakers as they aren't small.

In regards to the quality of sound from these speakers I cannot complain what so ever, you can even increase the volume of the two rear speakers to your specification. The center and two front speakers are where you get most of the dialogue so these are the most important anyway, and i had it at full volume to check if it would distort and not a single problem at all!

There are various choices when selecting the type of sound you want to come out, theres movie, music, loudness, virtualization, bass and so on. I would recommend playing around with them to see which you personally prefer.

Setup was easy as anything. Everything is colour coded and so simple to do, took me about 5 minutes to do the lot and have it cable tidied. I would recommend people to get an optical cable if possible as it makes the setup even easier and increases the quality of sound.

I managed to get these lovely speakers at the fantastic price of £[] and were delivered next day for around £[] and amazon followed through on their agreement.
Well done Amazon on another great deal at a great price!!!

MINOR EDIT.... I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky or not, I'm presuming so, but my speakers are being collected today and going back. There was an unusual sound every few seconds as if the audio wasn't quite making the connection so i played around for many days and many cables and the problem ended up being worse once i faffed with the settings, don't let this put you off though, im sure its a one in a thousand chance.

Bought this after reading reviews on here. Was disappointed when I opened the box (delivery was excellent, very fast) as it only had one tos input and one hdmi socket. Not enough for everything I have. I struggled to connect my hd cable box, tv and this, however after a couple of hours of working out what to do, I managed to get it all linked up (glad I got the tos cable as someone said here)
Once I got things fixed, the sound is excellent (spent all night listening to the music channels) I couldn't have bought a Hi-Fi system that sounds as good for anywhere near the money this cost, very loud and very clear even maxed out.
Only downside is having to disconnect cables to play everything through it. I know I could use different connections but I wanted to use HDMI and TOS connections without switching, I might try a couple of splitters although I don't know how good these would be.
Would also have liked to be able to make my own sound preferences but it doesn't allow for that. But for the low price I can put up with the preset ones on this. All in all, I am happy with this purchase. No problems with syncing as some have had and no probs with sound crackling or cutting out. Gutted that the price has dropped on the day after I bought it though.
Would definitely recommend this to a friend as I listened to lots of surround sound systems in comet, curries and independent retailers before picking this and none of them (within my price range) sounded as good.

very pleased with the sound system.worth every penny, also have LG TV which makes it even easier with simple link the tv does it all. would highly recommend it , also the super quick delivery from AMAZON well done
