Having retired a year or two ago, and starting to suffer the winter blues (or is it mid-life crisis!!) I looked for a pastime to wile away the dark winter nights and turned to modelling, which I used to do as a youth - you're never to old! I initially bought the F1 McLaren made by Revell as apposed to Airfix, which is a smaller scale. I had a great time building it and was impressed with the quality of today's plastic components. I then turned to the F1 Mercedes, which I have just completed with the same enthusiasm. I've got the Ferrari to do and the Red Bull on order to complete the set. My only criticism is that some of the transfers are so small as to be totally useless and some others tend to spoil the look of the component, like the suspension struts for instance. Also, check the box sooner than later as the Ferrari arrived with no build instructions and no transfers, in fact no paperwork at all.

I thought it was a finished scale model, but it was i build item. I did not notice it in the description, but it is written once, where you don't see it quite so good. The item feels and look good, but it is not for me, i rather have it as a scale model. Had to return it.

This is a great item, and have it displayed in your display cabinet with your other Michael Schumacher merchantizes is wonderful, its worth getting it now has you will never know Michael may retire for good if he do not get his 8th World title in which he richly desrves for a great outstanding formula 1 driver with outstanding qualities and a exceptional wonderful personality. a man who made formula 1 history since the birth of Formula 1.

This is a marvellous toy to show anyone how a formula1 car is put together and how the drivers have to adapt to there formula 1 cars.Michael Schumacher is the only driver i know that can adapt very quickly with his formula 1 car, this is put down to his great expirences and devotion to formula 1 and the races that lay ahead.
