Great album. White guy Rock n' Soul at its very best. Shame that I can only give this five stars.

I bought this on gut instinct after seeing them support Kings of Leon, and I LOVE it. They've catapulted to my top 5 present day bands list. If you like blues rock you'll love it. I can hear the odd bit of Led Zeppelin in it, and my parents also think it compares to Eric Clapton. But don't take this to mean they are a copycat band - they definitely have their own sound. And Dan's vocals are AWESOME. What's also great is that they do great rock-out songs (see Next Girl, Tighten Up, Howlin' For You) AND stunningly beautiful slow ones. I think 'I'm Too Afraid to Love You' is probably best in that category. Although I'm Not The One is fantastic. You know what? I love them ALL. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!
PS they are also AMAZING live. I went back to see them again and they crowd was absolutely nuts about them! I went and bought the live songs from the deluxe album too.

One word.Wonderful. Ok being a fan of this band makes me a little basis but take it from me you will find this frecord a blessed piece of magic in an over produced world of music, that will leave you breathless with its beauty.
It opens with the wonderful Everylasting light and moves gracefully on ,producing some pure moments of blues heaven, with the unmistakable vocals of Auerbach.
Stand out tracks are the single Tighten up, Ten cent pistol and the beautiful closing track These Days. man i cant get enough of these tunes after 3 listens and im convinced you will feel the same. Go on do yourself a massive favour and get this record. It will rock you ,move you but most of all leave a wildly fanfare of a taste in your mouth. Wonderful.

This latest installment by the Black Keys continues with the traditional of great albums. It took a little listening to see the greatness of this album but the songs really link together and produce a great listen. It doesn't have the massive guitar riffs as previous albums but certainly a great addition to the collection.
