I discovered this gem of a series on BBCThree, and it's a truth universally acknowledged in the T.V world, that shows that involve puppets can get away with that little bit more! It centres on Nelson, a metrosexual fox, and his cohorts, fellow fox Vince, who's rougher than sandpaper soaked in saddle soap, and swears more than Gordon Ramsay, Kali, a streetwise pigeon, Marion, a bolshie cat with a dubious accent, and Destiny, a pedigree pooch. It's a look inside their mad world, and involves several send ups of modern influences! From their Springwatch parody, clearly a pastiche of BGT, to the half time songs based on various controversial topics, 'Everybody loves a lesbian' and the lady Gaga influenced song about ugly people being attractive spring to mind! The boggle/Anne Frank joke in episode one was very near to the knuckle! That said, it's very funny indeed! Worth a look!
