One of my most widely used cookbooks, and great fun to read!

Keith Floyds heart is all over this book. From the introduction you know that his enthusiasm and passion for good food is going to make you want to cook so many of the recipes within. If you know how good British cookery can be, and also love to try dishes from all over the world, this book is for you. It's fun to read just as a book, and wonderful to cook from. You know how we all at some time inherit a cookery book from our parents or grandparents? Well this one, in all it's overused tattiness, will definitely be inherited by my son.
