This review is from: Beautiful Dangerous (Featuring Fergie) (MP3 Download)
When it was announced that Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie was going to appear on slash's self titled album there was more than a few eyebrows raised, after all she was supposed to be a pop girl and what business would she have singing with one of rocks greatest guitarists?

Luckily Slash doesn't think like that as the song Beautiful Dangerous suited Fergie perfectly, of all the songs on the album it's like it was written just for her voice. With it's seductive lyrics sung over a trademark Slash riff and heavy drums and a grooving bass. Fergie hits all the high spots perfectly it makes you wonder why she doesn't do more stuff like this. The song was originally written for a film score in which the music would be used during the stripper scene! Instead it found it's way on to Slashs debut solo record.

Slash has often talked up Fergies rock credentials, saying when he saw her sing a version of Hearts "Barracuda" that he knew he wanted her to sing on this track, even during rehearsals they would do "Barracuda" and a version of "Sweet Child O' Mine". The doubters have been proved wrong.
