This item is brilliant for Sushi beginners like myself, it is so much easier than using a roll mat (very difficult) and it makes just what it says perfect roll.

Excellent product - easy to use. Just a bit small if you want to do bigger Sushi products but good if wanting to do various different filling ones.

Bought this article as a present and found the recipient to be delighted. Works well and the results are equal to sushi made on a mat, without having the experience required when using a sushi mat! If it remains robust then it will have been an excellent buy.

Made 2 excellent sushi rolls, albeit rather short ones, you can only roll 3" rolls, then the item broke. Not impressed and will be returning this item!

This product was bought instead of a bamboo mat.
The instructions are clear but it is quite complicated to use.
The rice sticks to everything and the nori seaweed overlapped and made a crease instead of a smooth roll.
I feel it is a waste of money and the cheap bamboo mat is definitely the way to perfect sushi rolls.
The insert is so flimsy it makes it impossible to control.
I persevered for about an hour the first and second time but remain unimpressed and would not recommend.

i used bamboo mat to make sushi, whatever the rice is dry or wet i can always make it,but my first try for this thing is totally a fialure:the nori cant hold the rice at all maybe my rice is not sticky enough that i cant use it proper, ill go back to bamboo mat which require less to the material.one more thing, this stuff is really short comparing to the traditional bamboo mat so if you have a big stomach you would do more times for this thing than the bamboo mat

if you are a new sushi enthusiast, then buy it as it helps a lot. However, once you get familiar with the right way of making sushi, it will no longer be used

I originally bought one of these machines as a Christmas present for my daughter who has used it and says its fabulous. My other daughter was so taken with it that I bought her one for her birthday and she has said nothing but positive things about it. It arrived very quickly and I would recommend both the product itself and the seller. Very happy.

Good option for beginner, but you have to learn how to do it in the classic way because some time the rice it's too much compressed.

You can make maki with seaweed around the fish, instead of around the rice in a really easy way.

I had a very short mad period of my life. I was eating Sushi all the time. So I decided to solve the mystery of Sushi making by buying this little gizmo.
As it transpired its is so much easir to use a sushi mat and some cling film. This invention is something which you buy for some one else.
DONT BOTHER with this product A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME.
