I managed to get some false eyelash glue on a beloved black top, which I could not remove with regular stain remover, scrubbing and several washes. I had read previous reviews so I decided to purchase some Goo Gone. I have not been disappointed, it's brilliant. I applied it to my top using a cotton bud, left it for about ten minutes before putting it in the washing machine and it completely removed the stubborn stain. Highly recommended.

In a somewhat bizarre set of circumstances I ended up with considerable tape residue over one of my car's rear windows, which was (and remains) held up by a plank! I waited nearly a year to attack the residue, which probably explains why it wasn't nearly as easy to remove as I expected. It took several applications. The breakthrough came after I applied the third dose to the residue, waited ten minutes, moistened a 'non scratch' kitchen pad with yet more, and rubbed, rubbed and rubbed. Nearly all the residue has gone except right at the edges where the pad is too think to fit between the glass and the surround. I wiped down afterwards with a wet cloth. As far as I can see the plastic/rubber window surrounds are fine (I was worried that the chemical may have damaged them) and I am fairly happy at the outcome. Conclusions: (1) This did the job, and (2) Don't wait a year! It's amazing how hard residue can get.

Chewing gum hardened to like a 20p sized black piece of tar on my carpet. Poured a little of goo gone on it, left for a minute then rubbed with a clean white cloth 9so the colour doesn't transfer to carpet) which was also dipped in the GG. Totally gone without even a sweat, it turns the rubber into almost liquid and transferred to the cloth.

I was a little dissapointed with GooGone. firstly the postage was very expensive in relation to the price of the item and secondly the item in the main just spread the goo and made it harder to remove than before Goo Gone was applied.

I've used this on many hard to get off stains/imprints etc and it has always worked. It's a really amazing product.

I had read a review of this American cleaning liquid which would probable clean my daughter's school blazer, which had got a drop of paint on it, when we had painters. I decided to try it and it worked very well

I purchased this item to remove a vinyl sticker from a laptop, however it doesn't work.

Although it says it removes stickers, it doesn't specify which types. I presume it only works at removing paper stickers and the gluey residue left behind.

this is excellent product! I bought for my coffee table, after my son grown no longer needed corner protection but stickers remain ugly but couldn't take it off without damage but with this product it could removed all remain stickers in min without damage, brilliant!

I'd tried everything to remove the sticky residue from a plastic tub - this did the job in seconds. Highly recommend!

this stuff is amazing, i tried for hours to get the glue from foor tiles off my floor when i lifted sticky floor tiles, i tried using my hairdrier and a scraper but it was agonising plus i blew out the hairdrier, i bought goo gone and put it on the floor for 5 mins max then used a wee pot scourer now my floor is perfectly clean and no sign of the old tiles...AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING
