5.0 out of 5 stars A beautiful, informative and sad story of a master scientist
This book, despite it's slight stature contains a compilation of insightful autobiographical articles about Nikola Tesla. Everything from his very childhood days, through to his Long Island experiments is covered here. You won't get much technical information, but neither will you care, as Tesla was such an engaging writer. The style is like Dickens in many ways,...

2.0 out of 5 stars Too short!
Nice introduction to Tesla, but really too short. If you want more bang for your bucks, I would advise "Wizard: Life and Times of Nikola Tesla". It is much more detailed and just as easy to read.

3.0 out of 5 stars An inflated ego, 4 Feb 2013
Interesting to learn how Tesla looked on himself but after a while quite booring. A lot is about himself and not so much about his inventions as i had expected.

2.0 out of 5 stars Autobiography???, 11 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
From a man of such great intellect, I really did expect a lot more. I hope that he does not come back to haunt me (as he does to Odd Thomas in "Odd Apocalypse" by Dean Koontz).

Not that great really, far too short and a bit dijointed. It is one long rant about how brilliant he is and goes into too much technical detail in places and leaves gaping holes at other interesting points.
