I bought this zoo a short while ago for my Grandson's third birthday and gave to him this weekend. He was overawed by the size and quality of the items and loves it to bits. Took me an afternoon to assembly the zoo while he played with the excellent animals. Well worth the effort and now he has a quality item which should last for years. Next item will be the Meerkat addition. Very highly recommended and excellent value for money.

Bought this zoo for grandson as many years ago bought similar product for my own sons. There's hours of fun for you and child these items learn young children so many skills. Can't recommend highly enough .

My son fancied this after seeing an ad on a comic and having played with his cousins Playmobil african watering hole. The animals are fab - sturdy and with lots of moveable parts. The detail is incredible with lots of foliage, brushes, toys for the gift shop etc. Altho that does mean lots of bits to lose. The only down side was the construction of the animal enclosures which was quite tricky and took us ages to do. Once constructed it will NEVER be de-constructed by us.

My son had this for his 4th birthday. Boy, he loves it! I was a bit worried about how much he would get into it, but wanted to try and branch out from trains and cars. I needn't have worried, he has had so much play with it already. The attention to detail is amazing. I was very impressed with all the bits and pieces that came with it, even down to toy animals to sell in the zoo shop!
None of my other children ever had Playmobil, but can see #3 will get plenty of use out of it, and even his 10 yr old brother enjoys joining in to play with it.
It did take quite a long time to set up though (probably a couple of hours)and Tiddler was getting quite fed up before we were finished doing it, but once its done the first time it is easy to get out and set up again. If you have the space, I imagine it would be great kept fully assembled. We don't have the room however, and in between it gets popped into a box. It generally only takes 5 mins though to get it out and clip it together again.
The thing that put me off Playmobil all these years is the cost. So we clubbed together with Grandparents to get this, and it is definitely worth the money spent.

I purchased this for my grandsons as they love anything to do with animals. However they are too young for all the fiddley bits and get frustrated. I have therefore put it away until they are a bit older. They are currently 2 1/2 and nearly 4 so will get it out again in 6 months time. I enjoyed playing with it at 64!

again I bought this for my grand-daughter only this time as a christmas present.with the help of her parents it has been made & set out.

We bought this for my 4 year old grandson and gave it to him when he visited on Boxing Day. He wanted to play with it immediately but Grandad took one look in the box and said "we will have to do this later". There are lots and lots of tiny bits and we have decided that he is still much too young (especially as he has a 1 year old brother crawling around). It looks fantastic but complicated and will obviously take some time to build. We are hoping that we can build it in sections and then let him play with it once done. I think the 4-10 year label on the box is misleading. We have put it away until we have a few hours to spare to do it.

It was a Xmas present for my grandson, and he loved it. Played with it all over Xmas and Boxing Day

My daughter really loves this toy. Its not easy for a young child to put together and some parts don't fit together very well. However all in all its quite good and she really likes it.
