This oddly shaped little unit suffers from a common problem in pedometers; it doesn't count all your steps! I found it problematic and unreliable as sometimes it seemed fine and at other times it would dramatically undercount my walking. One of the reasons for this is the clip which is a bit small to be useful, as the unit needs to be in a position to gain good swing to count accurately, it is hard to attach in the right place. If you clip it to your sock or trainer it will fly off, if you clip it to (or put it in) a hip pocket it may not work at all. Beware that wherever you put it, you may accidentally wipe the memory as the buttons to do this have been cunningly placed right where you need to grip the unit to look at it!

If you're willing to make the effort or have suitable clothing with pockets in a variety of places to hopefully get it in the right position, it could be a good buy. However, the screen can be hard to read on a bright day or in deep shade, again, this is a common problem with LCD screens of this size and I'm hoping a backlit or LED display may one day become available. Forewarned is forearmed!

Has a lot of options and not that easy to set up as one wrong push and you are into another persons profile, not sure about the accuracy of the body fat analyser as it only ever shows body fat as 40% no matter how thin the person who tries it!!

I've worn a few pedometers this is one of the worst, does not count half the steps and falls off the waist

This was a worthless purchase. The sensor is entirely messed up. You can walk 100 steps and it will show 2. Then you bend (or move your hand, if you hold it) and it suddenly adds 10 steps out of the blue. Absolutely useless

This is a bit tricky to work out - it also seems to tick over to register 'a step' if you just happen to shake it by accident, adding step when you haven't done any! Might be good for people who don't feel like walking, they can just sit in the chair and shake the meter, then claim they've walked miles...

It is nice. Comfortable. You can hear it clicking when it counts a step you make. Not very accurate when you wear it on your belt. In pocket - better. Maybe if it was a bit sensitive would be beteer.

I tested it twice both times counting 50 steps one was 64 the other 63. I how am i meant to keep track of my steps and tell my doctor if it doesn't work properly. Also very hard to set up.

This does all that is asked of it by me. I only use the stride and steps combination and although it does a calorie counter function, I do not use, or my wife.

too sensitive, walking seems to produce 2 or 3 steps per actual step, not tested with running but I can't imagine it being any more accurate.
