I bought this to replace a Sony Cybershot W70, which dropped out of my pocket while hill climbing. I liked the Sony, but my new Panasonic Lumix FS10 is absolutely superb. I especially wanted a lightweight, slim camera that I can put in a trouser pocket - and this camera fits the bill. I have just come back from a holiday and viewed the photos that I took on my computer and on my TV (for which a connector is supplied) - the images are superb. Even those taken at 0.3mp are very good. The 28mm wide angle lens is excellent, as is the optical image stabiliser. The quality of the videos is exceptional and the 2.7" LCD screen is extremely clear. I would quite like to have had an optical viewfinder, but these are becoming increasingly rare. It would also have been nice to have had a recharging cradle into which the camera could be placed after use, rather than have to remove the battery for charging, but the Sony was the same in this respect. Altogether a superb camera.

What can I say about this awesome camera? I wanted one that was small and lightweight and able to produce good pictures. This was the perfect choice.

It has many different shooting modes to choose from which are easy to select and you'll find one to suit most weather conditions/activities/purposes. For each mode, there's a quick summary of what it does - helpful when trying to find the best one to use.
It's quick to set up as soon as you open the box. Although it doesn't come with a memory card, you can buy them quite cheap from most places and the camera also has in-built memory, for when the SD card is full (40mb I think it is). Once the battery pack is charged (which didn't take long at all) the camera is ready to go.

This seems a great little camera easy to use and small enough to carry around. It does video, up to 15 mins at a time so I don't need another video camera. I have the 8GB memory which is plenty.

This is probably one of the best cameras you can get for its size and price. I was unbelievabley impressed with it!
It delivers sharp, crisp and VERY detailed photos EVERYTIME.

I just took it out it's box and started snapping away and it did'nt dissapoint

Would recomend this to anyone, if your looking for a sexy, slim, easy to use camera which truely delievers on picture quality.... GET THIS CAMERA!

Clear and easy to use menu screen, good in low light, rapid shutter setting is good but not as rapid as digital SLRs, haven't printed from this camera yet but photos on laptop look great.
The functions are not overcomplicated and the camera is screen, buttons and battery/memory card holder seem quite sturdy.
Overall - really pleased with this purchase :)

Wanted a point and shoot, easy to use camera. Read lots of reviews and chose this camera. Highly recommended.

A great camera, i searched around a lot before deciding on this camera,it takes great photos and video.However, i purchased the recommended sandisk sdhc card, and when videoing the camera would only video about 10/15 seconds.
I tracked the issue down to the 'class'(speed) of memory card.The sandisk is a class 2 and the camera needs class 6.Having now purchased a samsung + double speed sdhc(which is class 6) all appears well.So would have been 5 stars, but as a novice i had no idea that memory had different classes ! hope this helps

This is a great Camera, and I've always wanted a Lumix. Although this is a mid range, I didn't expect too much from it, based on its price. But I'm happy to say it is much better than I thought it would be. The HD video is really good and the picture quality is also great, except in darker conditions I've noticed some noise on the images. Not too much of an issue as it's still a decent picture. In good light conditions its perfect!

I'm a complete techn-phobe and a digital camera novice. But after reading the booklet, even I found it straightforward to charge the card and turn it on. Admittedly, I still had to ask for help how to review pix but really, the pic quality is clear (much better than my old APS model) and it is easy to navigate, particularly compared to other models. It has a 2.7 screen and looks very stylish. One slight criticism is that the indoor pix looked slightly gloomy (but a photographer friend) has recommended that any snapper should set it to auto flash to brighten images. I am very pleased with it.

I bought the Panasonic Lumix FS10 as a birthday present for my girlfriend as she destroyed her old camera some time ago. She is a complete technophobe and so I had to make sure that the camera ticked a number of boxes.

The FS10 is easy to use and takes some fantastic shots. The colours are vibrant and the stability function when zoomed right in is amazing.

The Auto Intelligence function is a god send for my girlfriend and 9/10 produces a fantastic shot.

The build quality is good and its compact and lightweight, perfect for handbags or coat pockets.

The macro mode takes shots with fantastic depth and overall this camera is FANTASTIC!

My one criticism is that the A.I function sometimes struggles when indoors in low light conditions. Probably best to set flash manually.

I will be buying one of the FS range for myself at the first opportunity!
