5.0 out of 5 stars N150 Plus owners read this before buying to avoid confusion!
If you are confused over the conflicting reviews as to whether this will or will not fit a Samsung N150 plus it's because Samsung have released the netbooks with two different types of memory. DDR2 and DDR3. It's really easy to find out which one you need for yours though simply switch off your netbook and unscrew the memory panel and there will be a label which will say...

3.0 out of 5 stars It helps.....but don't expect miracles.
I purchased a Samsung N145 plus net book and decided to get this item as well because the reviews on amazon say that it helps with the overall performance.
It was sent quickly-posted Monday, received Wednesday- and within 60 seconds was installed.
The start up time was the first thing i noticed a difference in, about 45secs in total. The machine seems to run a...

This review is from: 2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 memory module (Electronics)
If you are confused over the conflicting reviews as to whether this will or will not fit a Samsung N150 plus it's because Samsung have released the netbooks with two different types of memory. DDR2 and DDR3. It's really easy to find out which one you need for yours though simply switch off your netbook and unscrew the memory panel and there will be a label which will say either 'DDR2 Only' or 'DDR3 Only' You just have to remove the existing memory to see it which, the whole process takes less then 5 minutes and then you know for a fact which memory to buy and no one wastes time or money.

If you're thinking what's the difference? Look at the pictures of a DDR2 and a DDR3 module. You will see a little U shape cut out along the edge, this allows the memory to fit into your computer and is in a different place on the different types so one type literally will not fit if it is the wrong one.

I bought this module to increse the memory in my Samsung Netbook to the max 2GB. I removed the existing one and just popped the new Crucial in and it worked. As simple as that. Quite pleased with the seemingly improved performance it gives.

Good price, good product, good service.

Bought this to upgrade my new Samsung NC110. Fitted in about 1 minute (Samsung just have one screw between you and the memory). At this price it's dead simple and dead cheap, you can't go wrong!

5.0 out of 5 stars Top quality - Fast delivery, 26 July 2011
This review is from: 2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 memory module (Electronics)
Bought this for the Samsung N150 Plus. Sorted all the disc-swapping problems such as slow to load; slow internet access; lock-ups; poor performance etc etc.
If you buy a N150 plus just order this also, you will be amazed at the difference - Samsung, just add an extra few quid to the N150 price and include 2gB RAM - it's a no-brainer! Very very pleased with this combination - now does everything FAST as was the delivery.

5.0 out of 5 stars Woks with ASUS 1015PEM, 6 Jun 2011

Works well with my ASUS 1015PEM-BLK133S and probably all other ASUS 1015PEM as well. Especially Multi-Tab-Browsing with Firefox is much faster now. Previously Firefox alone used up over 70% of my memory with just a few tabs (3-4) open and now it is about 40% under similar conditions, so it is a real performace boost for that Netbook for just a few pounds and a very easy installation (a detailed instruction how to buid in the RAM can be found at YouTube).

DDR stands for Double Data Rate, which in itself means little to the non tech person. The thing to remember is that DDR1, DDR2 and DDR3 are all incompatible with each other. The tiny U shaped cut in the memory card is in a different location on each and a laptop using DDR3 cannot be fitted with the others. DDR3 is the fastest memory chip of them all; uses less power and is the most efficient. If you want to increase the memory on your laptop, you first need to find out which chip it requires. On Samsung laptops, memory is usually located on the underside and all it needs is to unscrew the only screw and the DDR version is written there. If not, look at the chip and have a look on a search engine to find out which one it is.
This particular one is a reliable brand and installing this to replace a 1GB chip does small wonders. At this price, if you are running Win 7 on 1GB, it really is worth getting this 2GB chip. Most laptops have just one slot for a memory chip, so the existing 1GB chip becomes redundant which is a shame but can't be helped.

4.0 out of 5 stars DDR3 or DDR2, 2 Dec 2011
This review is from: 2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 memory module (Electronics)
Purchased this for Samsung N150 Plus and was initialy confused as to which module to order but on removing existing module visible label indicated that DDR3 was the one (apparently this netbook can take either depending on the model so PLEASE check before ordering to save a mistake. Pleased with the product and installing was straight forward - just make sure the battery is removed prior to removing/changing memory module other than that the task is easy. Netbook is faster so worth it. Good delivery and arrived as advised.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great upgrade for Acer Aspire ONE D255 Netbook, 7 Sep 2011
This review is from: 2GB, 204-pin SODIMM, DDR3 PC3-10600 memory module (Electronics)
I used this 2GB RAM to upgrade my Acer Aspire ONE D255 netbook from the 1GB RAM it came with. Slowly the netbook was reducing its speed (being at constant 75-80% memory usage) so I decided to upgrade the memory. The netbook is faster than before and memory usage is down to 50% - much better. An essential upgrade for netbook users
