Vine Customer Review of Free Product( What's this? )
Having just received this I can say I am quite happy with the item, it's not quite as well padded as it seems to look in the picture, so that is perhaps a little deceiving, but should still offer adequate protection for most items.

The draw string tightens up well and doesn't seem to slip so I am pretty confident my Kodak ZI8 won't be slipping out anytime soon. The case also has a little clip on the back to allow you to attach it to your bag or belt and is a nice addition. If if annoys you however it is easy to take off without damaging the case.

Not much else to say other than it seems to be of decent quality and is a nice product for the price point

This is a good quality drawstring pouch made from a nylon quilted and padded fabric offering durable and cushioned protection for its contents. So far, I've used it for carrying my glasses, a small digital sound recorder, my Samsung Wave mobile phone and my Sony 'Bloggie' mini digital camcorder - for which it provided the perfect fit (see photos). The handy Karabina could clip securely to a belt loop but I attached a shoulder strap so that I can 'wear' mine like a traditional camera case.

This is highly versatile pouch with many uses offering lighweight, cushioned protection for those small electronic products we carry everywhere.

Initially, I was rather un-convinced at the use of the word 'quilted' to describe this case, but as it turns out, there is enough padding provided to protect your gadget from everyday knocks, though there's also the element of simply keeping it clean. One of the best things about this product is that its just the right size to fit most digital cameras, phones, PDA's, you name it - and there's even a toggle at the top to pull it together should your device be a little too small. As usual with Amazon's Basics Range, the packaging is simple, recyclable, and what you see is what you get. Whats not to like?

I got this to replace the awful "cover" that came with my first generation Flip, which was made of cloth and somehow managed to transfer its black dye onto the white finish of the Flip. This AmazonBasics case is far superior. It's padded to protect whichever device you choose to put in it (larger things than a Flip will fit in), with good quality stitching and a metal carabiner for connection to a belt loop or similar, which is a nice touch. It's sturdy-feeling yet incredibly lightweight.

Undoubtedly there are more expensive case options out there, but for my purposes it fit the bill nicely.

It would usually be churlish to talk about the packaging, but as Amazon mentions the frustration-free packaging at the top of this page, I'm gonna do the same at the top of this review. The box didn't fit through my letterbox when it so easily could have been made to. In fact, it's like they've gone out of their way to not let this thing be delivered to me without my postie having to go through the hassle of knocking on my door, discovering I'm not in (or hiding), writing out a card and making me fetch it from the post office. Not cool, man, not frustration-free and not cool.

Amazon also calls this a case but I'm calling it a bag or a pouch. I ordered this bag/pouch (told you) for my Flip camcorder to store in my pocket. My Flip came with a bag all of its own, which for the most part does its job, but this padded upgrade offers me extra security. With the Flip's dedicated bag, if you drop it, the contents are gonna get damaged one way or another even it's just a minor scuff mark. I wouldn't recommend dropping anything in this bag just for the sake of it, but should such an accident occur, your gadget will surely live to see another day in pristine condition.

It's got a clip too so you can attach it to your belt buckle or something similar, and that's nice, but in an effort to make the bag/pouch fit a variety of different products, it is slightly oversized for the Flip. There's gonna be some moving around unless you store it firmly in your pocket.

Typical Amazon basics product packaging cardboard box. This is good. No cursing and swearing whilst trying to cut open an impenetrable plastic package. The case itself is good quality as well, about big enough for a compact camera or an iPod and fairly heavily padded. There's a metal loop for attaching to belts and the end can be sealed shut by a drawstring.

My fifteen month old son had a little "accident" with mine and it got a little, ahem, wet. A quick wipedown followed by a drying out and it was fine. Contents were OK as well.

This is a handy little bag, slightly padded, with a drawstring to close, and a carabiner (D hook) on one side for attaching it to a belt etc. I find the case slightly long for my camera or ipod, and too big all over for a phone. As long as you're not wanting the bag to be as neat as possible, this is a nice little item. The slightly shiny material would suggest it could be fairly waterproof, although the opening at the top would obviously allow some water in! The carabiner is a useful addition.

I liked this case as it 's nicely nicely padded, comes iwth a belt clip (very very handy for carrying electronics around), got a cute little Amazon tag (makes it look mor authentic) AND a loop for carrying it in your hands!
The only thing I didn'e like it is too big for my digital camera BUT that makes it versatile, so I could use it for my iPhone, MP3 player etc...
All round a very handy little carrying case.
Definitely recommend it.

Okay, it's difficult to review something so practical as a carry case, when a lot of it can only come down to personal opinion. Here's mine, but bear in mind it is based on how I intend to use the case itself. You may wish to use it differently.

Had Amazon sent me two of these, I would have tried pulling the belt clip as hard as I could to see if the loop it goes through breaks away. I like the case, so I won't do that, but my main concern when using something like this is this - "if I clip it to my belt and put my iPod in it, what will happen should a thief try and snatch it away?" I'm not convinced one way or the other - but it is a good little bag. It's moderately padded, but with the belt hook being used, I don't expect to drop it onto concrete. The hook is easy to clip onto a belt loop and the drawstring holds well. For security reasons again, I don't like that the material is so shiny.

I could say something about the unnecessary packaging it came in, but I've been through all this with other AmazonBasics reviews. The packaging shouldn't have any influence on the score. My score is only what it is because of my concerns about how secure it is for carrying around my iPod.

Unfortunately my small gadgets are a bit too small for this case as they have too much room to move around inside. The bag is well padded though so they aren't in danger of being damaged, instead the bulk is a bit frustrating.

This certainly is basic, the material is a bit too shiny and cheap, and while it may protect my gadgets the added bulk is far too inconvenient.
