Really pleased with this treadmill. Arrived promptly on the stated delivery date, securely packaged against the rigours of white van man's stunt driving. From opening the box to powering up only took 15 minutes and it only took that long cos I couldn't find the cable to plug my ipod into it to get my music thru the built-in speakers (which are much better than I would have expected). The manual is very detailed and every step of the straightforward assembly process is clearly explained with text and photos. No screws missing and no bits left over which was a bit of a shocker. Build quality is very good and it feels absolutely stable in use, a sturdy little unit, a bit like my ex girlfriend. There are more than enough programs but I prefer to adjust it manually as the controls and readouts are all easy to use and read. My training usually falls apart over winter but I know it's going to be different this year and it will be great to hit the new season fully fit. The included weights and water bottle are nice touches and running with dumbells is definately going to build up my stamina. I can't see anyone being disappointed with this, I certainly give it top marks.

well all i have to say is THANK YOU MAXIMA FITNESS! i received my new treadmill the other day, three days after ordering it and i have not left it alone since to be honest. the step by step instruction guide to assemble it was so helpful and i had it all sorted in no time at all. it is easy to use, has loads of cool programs, the features are really simple to use and it folds away with no hassle, it is so user friendly. all of my friends have had a go and now they all want one, the boys loved the dumbells on the side as it adds a little extra challenge to your run. it is great value for money and it is the best money i have spent in ages, if not ever. i now cant wait to get home from work, get my i-pod playing and go for a run in my house and shake off the day. it is mine to use when i want and for how ever long i want, its wicked. if you want a quality treadmill for your home, this one is the daddy of them all!

My new treadmill is very sturdy and well made, it feels really comfortable to run on like the machines I used in my old gym. You can run freely and with confidence as the running area is the biggest I've seen. The treadmill is setup in the kids bedroom and folds away to leave lots of space. It looks really smart and the kids seem to prefer it to the computer which is astonishing.
The programmes are excellent, with a wide range of levels that the whole family use. It's also got many other features that I haven't even tried yet but my favourite is the Heart Rate strap as it controls the treadmill for you.
I use the side weights alot and combine this with the incline to make it really challenging. This is an amazing treadmill, my whole family love it and given the choice I would definitely buy this again. Its great value for money and I always shop around, it even comes with a treadmill mat. I wholeheartedly recommend this treadmill.

I must first admit that I've never purchased a treadmill prior to this one, but it certainly is one of the best I've used. The customer service was phenomenal from the moment I bought it, even having one chap call me on my mobile from abroad to try and schedule an appointment for delivery and assembly by their engineers. When delivery date did come around, a relative who stayed at my house to let the engineers in did say that they were incredibly polite, helpful and informative. I couldn't get a better impression from the company.

Technically, it will not have all the mod-cons that the 7-10k treadmills will have and of course it shouldn't for the price. What it does provide (visually speaking) is a console with a 400 meter round-track for you to see your current location on it in real-time as you walk/jog/run along. The "standard" console also displays your "incline" level, speed (in KPH), distance travelled (in kilometers) and calories burned. I also believe you can use the console in "programme" mode to travel over a given distance with varying degrees of incline/speed, though I haven't used this at all yet.

It's tough, very quiet, includes a great guarantee and the on-sale price makes it mega cheap in comparison to many mid-market treadmills out there. For those reasons I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to lose weight as a New Year's resolution, or if you're just fitness mad!

The Maxima Fitness MF-2000-treadmill was easy to put together and start to use. I had one small problem and called the people I bought it off and they were great help.

I bought this for my wife who is a frequent visitor to the gym (unlike me). She tells me this treadmill is as good as the gym ones which probably cost 3 or 4 tims as much. It has even enticed me to use it & I have to admit it's even quite a pleasure, I don't need fancy trainers or kit & I don't have to hold my belly in & pretend to run like Daley Thompson whenever I meet someone on a run. It is plenty fast enough with loads of goodies even for my wife. Time will tell how this stands up to constant use, but it seems robust & very well made with a great warranty & Maxima only a call away, you won't be dissapointed.

Bought this for the value, speed, excellent reviews, but most of all the promising gradient ("1-20 levels"). Delivery was late, but this was the fault of the courier, and Maxima customer services have been very good.

Running platform is very good, fast, well cushioned, nice. I am disappointed by the incline though. 1-20 sounds like it would go fairly steep, granted that it doesn't actually say %. In reality the clearance on level 20 is 24cm from floor to base of platform at the front, something like 6-8%. I was expecting a lot more. Probably wouldn't have bought this had I known.

Still, all round a very good machine unless you are into fell running.
