Received my Blu Ray last week and waited till the weekend to watch it, The wife and i are big Take That fans only recently becoming fans as we're in our 30's and really didn't like them the first time around. I have to say this is possibly the best concert release i've ever seen. Technically and musically. I never see them live on this tour but now wish i had. It's pure entertainment from beginning to end. Its not just a concert its a huge show. with amazing dance routines from the performers. They get the old stuff out the way at the beginning, bringing it up to date too. The show seems to just get better and better.Another thing is the editing of the show, For once its not too choppy with cuts every couple of seconds which i've noticed on the last 2 Take That releases, which makes for an enjoyable experience. This Blu Ray has one of the best quality picture i have seen. if you was there you will certainly find yourself amongst the crowd. even at long distance. Sound quality is top notch too with a DTS HD MA track which is like being there. a standard Dolby 5.1 and PCM 2.0 is included also which was nice. A good bonus was the Abbey Road recording of 11 songs from the last 2 albums. very much keeping in tune with the recent channel 4 series Abbey Road, The guys all remain seated and are accompanied by an orchestra. Songs are toned down a bit to fit the ambience. All in all i can't recommend this Blu Ray enough, I just wish i had been there. One thing i wished for was more extras, maybe a doc on the making of the production. If you like Take That then your mad not to get this.

Was very pleased to receive this DVD today (21/11/09) especially as it's not officially released until 23/11/09!
Was hoping for some behind the scenes action/band commentary etc as on previous Take That DVD's, so was disappointed that there isn't any. Even still, I loved every minute of the DVD though - brought back such good memories of a fantastic June night in Cardiff! Would recommend it to anyone who saw them on tour and anyone who missed it.

Have been eagerly awaiting the release of this DVD having seen the guys in Croke Park in June. Thrilled to bits with it. If you saw them doing this concert it is a must. If you didnt get to see them but like the group buy it you will not be disappointed - other than wishing you got to experience the real thing!!! It truly is a spectacle. The thought and effort that went into the show is there for all to see. The camera work is excellent and the overall production was first class. I honestly dont think there will be a concert like it ever again!!! The Abbey Road DVD that comes with it is really good as well - lets you really see just how talented these guys are when all the bright lights and the dance routines are taken out and its just them in a studio performing. Well worth every penny....

I received my dvd yesterday, due to ordering with the internet site that sponsored this tour and I was not disappointed. Superb filming of the concert over two nights, well edited and it really shows just how fantastic Take That are. My husband and two teenage sons were drawn into the room and sat down to watch it with me. It's that good. Take That fans will absolutely love this, and any other fan will/should watch it and appreciate the hard work that went into this concert and dvd. Entertainment at its best.

Let me make it clear ..... I am NOT a Take That fan (Phil Collins yes) .... but .... what a fantastic show and on blu ray the colours and clarity are beyond belief. My son and his girlfriend went to see the concert live and thought it was very good. I was flicking the channels on the TV over Christmas when the concert was broadcast and realised then that it was a good visual concert. Based on a circus the acts and visual images were very good. Having watched the concert on TV I had considered getting the DVD as thought it would be better production than the TV version. I then bought a blu ray machine so decided to get the blu ray version ..... good choice. Even if like me you are male in your 50's and not a fan from the first time round, I believe you will still be very impressed with the showmanship of Take That and the non stop enjoyment of the circus performers/acts ..... especially the 'elephant'.

When I finally got this DVD, I could hardly wait to watch it, but I held out until I could watch it with my whole family and I have to say it's possibly the best concert I've ever seen!

Stunning sound, photography, costumes, sets, colours, the elephant(!), dancers...and Gary, Mark, Howard and Jason! Watching this is like being at a party which everyone is truly enjoying. Somehow Take That manage to make you a part of their performance and you truly share the pleasure that they're experiencing performing. I think that's part of the secret of Take That actually - you really know that Gary absolutely adores performing live and that they're there to make sure everyone there has a great time, too.

From the opening of Greatest Day right through to Rule the World, this DVD brings home the magic of Take That. Matt Askem has done an amazing job in directing the filming of this concert as most concerts I watch are badly filmed (with the exception of anything directed by Hamish Hamilton who is the genius of concert directing) with too much involvement with the crowd and often missing the performers - not so with this one which doesn't leave you wondering what you missed.

Highlights? Too many to mention, but Greatest Day, The Garden, Clown Medley (Gary does the Moonwalk!) Never Forget, Hold Up a Light (brings tears to the eyes, especially when Jason and Howard run down the walkway) and Rule the World are just some of treasures of this fantastic concert. Both my children ask to watch this DVD over and over and sing along to the songs which, of course, makes me very happy indeed.

Will the boys ever be able to top this one? Who knows, but for now this will be a treasure to enjoy for many years to come. My only regret is that I live on the other side of the world and couldn't get over to see this wonderful masterpiece, but perhaps 2011? Anyway, Take That are a national treasure and something we can all be very proud of.

........to see all the parts of a fantastic show that you missed because you were too small / behind the elephant (all will be revealed on the DVD....) or simply not at the gig! Seriously, we saw the show in Manchester and watching this excellent production has greatly enhanced our memories of a brilliant day. It has allowed us to take in the whole spectacle rather than the bits we just happened to see at the time. And what a show it is! The Take That boys are such pros and the rapport between them is a joy to watch. We did feel at some points, however, that the music got a bit 'lost' in all the razzamatazz - so to find a totally stripped back performance (Abbey road) as an extra was a real bonus. Turn the lights off, crank up the volume, pour a glass of something chilled and relive the magic.

This is one of the best concerts I've seen for a long time. It's worth viewing on Blu-ray - as the colours are so vibrant, and the detail crystal clear.
Regarding the actual concert - this is a fantastic production - that will please Take That fans and non-fans alike. It's musically excellent - and it shows the vocal talents of the group, and the musical talents of the band.
The performers that surround the band only add to the show, and never distract. Absolutely brilliant.

This DVD is a fantastic concert. The songs, atmosphere and showmanship is utter brilliance and a joy to watch and listen to. i was never really a Take That fan, a bit more so when they sort of grew up without Robbie, but this has changed my mind. What a fantastic band and a show stopping concert performance.

My partner and her sister went to see them at the Ricoh Stadium and they still keep raving about it. Every time they watch this, they keep saying what memories it bought back and they are mesmorised by the whole concert.

Take That at their best. Well worth being in anybody's collection.

This is a fabulous concert of course, but I just want to correct the info on here that says the DVD's are PAL region 2. They are actually region 0 and can be viewed worldwide. Some people might want to know that if they do not live in the UK. :)

This concert is a mega experience! Love it. The Abbey Road performance is something special and provides a nice contrast.

If there's one thing I'm missing it's the band commentary like they did on the Beautiful world Tour DVD. It was so interesting hearing them talk about how the show came together, and to hear their thoughts on the show as they watched it. Would have loved to have the same thing for The Circus as well.

Anyway, this show is amazing!
