I looked through all the reviews and no-one has highlighted a precise description of what colours are included in this pack.

So here are the eight pens included in this particular pack.

They are -

Light Green (close to a pea green)
Green (a jade type colour)
Light Blue (better known as sky blue - great colour)
Blue (a standard blue bordering on a slightly faded navy - just)
Pink (a slightly dark powder pink)
Violet (rich dark purple - beautiful colour)
Orange (exactly that - orange!)
Wine-Red (a rich dark red)

The two not included in the pack are -

Black (simply black - just that) & Red (a blood type red - very rich) - but these can be currently bought individually for as little as £1.89 (incl p&p) at the time of writing this review.

So there you are - in total ten fabulous colours available from the Uni-ball Eye Fine UB-157 range.

Superb pens. However - they don't write well on glossier type paper - for example - some types of greeting cards - the neon paper ranges etc but that's a small quibble.

Hope that helps

Uniball fine pens have long been my writing implement of choice, as they combine a comfortable grip with an accurate point, and smooth ink flow.

This pack contains a range of colours usually only found in pens intended for art work: they are excellent for annotated notes and mind-map techniques. The only drawback is that this pack contains none of the 'standard' colours: no black, navy or red. Yes, it does list the range of colours in the product description, so I was forewarned; it just would have been nice to find them all together in 1 pack.

Bought these pens for my office, always useful to have a mix in the pen holder. The pens are great, they write smoothly and so well. Love them and glad i made the purchase. Even though they are just pens, the right pen makes a difference to your handwriting and Uni-ball fine nib pens are probably the best ones.

The only criticism would be that they dont work all on paper types, but that is a given.

I just received these pens and love the way they write! the ink flow is smooth and consistent. They aren't the cheapest pens but they are amazing to right with, also I like that there is an indicator as to how much ink is left. I would recommend these pens!
I have attached a picture with colour swatches, since the description doesn't say.

Tnis is my second purchase of these rollerball pens and probably won't be my last. My other ones are still in use, but these were at a great price that I had to stock up again. They come in great colours and are smooth to write with, do not scratch like some other rollerball pens I have bought previously. Would buy more of these pens I like them that much, but that would just be greedy on my part.

Before purchasing, the only descriptions I could find of the colours were from other people's reviews, describing the colours as orange, pink, dark pink ("wine red"), violet, blue, light blue, green and light green.

I purchased the product for this very reason - I see the standard red, navy blue and black everywhere, and I wanted some more unusual colours. However the pack I received contained red, black, navy blue & light blue, pink, violet & 2 of the same green colour. This was disappointing for me, as the missing colours - wine red, orange & light green - were the colours I was most interested in.

Now that I look again, I see there are other reviews saying the same thing, so it seems to be pot luck as to which colour combination you will get.

I can highly recommend these as the best coloured pens I've ever come across. Perfect for marking up scripts as well as writing. Here's hoping that having found something so much better than felt pens or coloured pencils, they don't go and change them.

These pens are just what I was looking for. Buying this type of pens singularly gets quite expensive, so a pack of 8 is great. It's a good variation of colours, and it shows both on pen and top which colour it is. Writing is with a good grip, and nice outcome on the paper. Great product.

I had been using the Staedtler colour pens for years until I borrowed a uni-ball off my sister and I realised how much nicer and neater I could write with them! After receiving the set, I've quickly abandoned my biros and fountain pen as well.

The colours are lovely, particularly because I'm a fan of deep colours and this set includes a purple, 'wine' and sea green colour, as well as the more usual bright ones. I've knocked off one star because I had to buy an additional pack to get the standard red, navy and black pens (whereas alternative brands tend to include them).

The ink dries quite quick, though a bit longer on smoother paper types. They have quickly become my favourite pens, brightening up my notes and revision, as well as getting me into letter writing just so I had an excuse to use them.

UPDATE: 07/01/12 Pens still going strong, despite daily use. I would have no problem with buying a second set when they run out.

these pens arrived within 2 days of purchase and the pens are bright colours which are easy to see on both white and coloured papers. Overall a great buy!
