I charged the unit on Saturday morning and have been using daily, the battery so far shows no signs of running slow. It's a nice looking set and contains everything you can think of to prevent you from looking like a yeti. I have tried all the provided attachments bar the nose trimmer (I am not that brave)

It does a surprisingly good job at clipping hair, good enough in fact to retire my Wahl corded version, I had used cordless clippers in the past and I always found them to be a little underpowered. Really easy to use and setup, well worth a purchase.

Bought this as replacement for a competitor's model that I've been using for about 5 years. By comparison the wahl lithium has a wider range of trimming/grooming functions, is considerably lighter in weight, easier to use and change 'heads' etc. and initial impressions suggest that it produces a better cut quality from a trimmer that is of overall high quality in manufacture, components and functionality.

This is by no means a brilliant, or even average shaver.

First of all, the instruction manual is a shambles, often repeating itself and never delving into the detail. For example it will have the headline 'How to clean your shaver' then go on to say 'use the brush to clean your shaver'. Well, how exactly do I go about doing that?! Do I need to remove bits? Can I run it under water?
It also says away from 'private' shaving such as the pubic area. Lets face it, there are bound to be guys out there who want to shave that area, yet all this offers in the way of guidance is 'pull the skin tight and use the shaver'. No help like soften hair first with water and use some kind of moisturiser or powder afterwards. So you'd be left to your own devices, experimenting or fleeing to the Internet.
The manual also has a guide for beard lengths and which guard to use to get the desired length. However, there are quite a few measurements listed, but no actual guard included! So for me, 6mm is too short and 10mm is too long... But there's no 8mm guard.

The stand for all the guards, brush, and trimmer itself is appalling. It's a vacuum moulded, mass produced piece of flimsy plastics that will scatter your bits all over the floor! And in the manual, it says to never drop your blades due to the way they're manufactured so well... In addition, there aren't even enough slots for all the blades and guards to fit into, so you just have a mountain of plastic and metal.

As for the practicality of the shaver, it is okay. The general use clipper blade when used naked gives a close stubble. The detailer head is about 3/4cm wide, so barely fits up a nostril! It takes a lot of work to give a minimal clear out, before you give up, with a half hairy nose. The T-trimmer is good, just an elongated version of the general trimmer. The shaver head is probably the worst of them all, hardly cutting any hairs. It requires deep scraping of the skin to try and get anywhere near a close shave. There will always be a few strand hairs left.

Overall, I'd say avoid this, and look into something else.muse this as a last resort, or if you want a cheapish trimmer for when you are away from home for a period.

I bought this product to serve two purposes: first, to shave my head; second, to give me a 'designer stubble' look, of something like 5 days growth.

Unfortunately the product was unable to give me a stubble look. Even on the closest beard trimming attachment I don't think it would have been possible to give a look which was less than a couple of weeks' growth. Possibly ok for those looking to trim a full beard, but of no use for anyone looking for a closer trim.

I can't comment on the head shaving capabilities, as the hair attachment I received was faulty. (I returned the product for a refund.)

This trimmer looks fantastic, the packaging shows off about the numerous grooming awards it has won. Upon opening it all up, I was amazed by all the different heads (including nose-hair trimmer!). I turned it on and it worked and trimmed in every way I could possibly want. Then came day 2 - no power. I charged it up for an hour, following all the directions to the letter, it worked! I'll tell you why I was surprised at this point because this was the fourth trimmer I bought which after charging did not work whatsoever. I subsequently returned and replaced all of those ending up on my fourth trimmer. It worked, I was so excited to finally have the trimmer I wanted for so long. Nope, it broke after the second use to NEVER EVER work again. My return period has run out, waste of nigh on £30. I'll go back to the £11 Wahl trimmer which works for longer (6months of daily use before it breaks). Wahl your magical Lithium Ion Total Grooming Kit is an absolute waste of time. I could not hate your product more.

Quite simply, the guide combs are such low quality that hairs get caught between them and the blades causing them to be painfully pulled. Don't bother with the guide combs and the blade on its own works fine - but then if you aren't going to use the guide combs, you may as well just buy a cheaper trimmer. Avoid.

This product stated all male grooming - however you would not want to use it on your head - very poor, very 'flimsy' - returned.

I bought this clipper set to try out really and am impressed, very impressed I work in a busy barbers and would dread to be without it I don't actually use it for hair cuts as it is not full size takes longer however for home use etc would be fine but I do use it all the time for beards , necklines and blending in it is very light and versatile good value for money cant fault this clipper at all as for the face shaving its the closes electric clipper I have used does a brilliant job I am buying another for spare in case this one breaks down which if it does I will have had good use from it already. the stand is use less very tacky and awkward but I dont use it so that dosnt matter, however I would use it if it wasnt so flimsy.

Brilliant. Lots of cutting length and beard/hair options and attachments for electric shaver and micro clippers etc. Fast charging. Stand is ok could be improved for travel purposes. 9.5 out of 10.
