There are several incorrect and misleading comments written in these reviews about the audio on these discs so it is time to clarify them from someone who has the discs and knows what he is talking about ( and no, I am not a world expert but you don't need to be a Rocket scientist to work it out )
The first five films in the series have English PCM 5.1 , PCM is pure uncompressed cinemtaic quality audio - even higher than true hd or dts hd-ma (though the difference in standards is minimal at best - they are all top notch) , it's the best sound you can get, enough said !
Some players will default automatically to the standard dolby digital 5.1 settings so you may need to go into the set up menu and select audio options to get the PCM 5.1 option selected - having said that , if you are just watching through a standard TV with no surround sound cinema system , it will make little difference.
The 6th film has dolby true hd 5.1 which is almost identical in quality to PCM but requires less space on the disc.
The confusion has arisen because the back of the box set only lists dolby true hd as the HD audio option - therefore less experienced blu-ray fans who can't find this option on the first 5 discs instantly start complaining without even realising what PCM 5.1 sound is.

Wow! Amazed by this blu-ray collection! I really am:) First of all let me say I didn't use to be a Harry Potter fan until I have started to watch these wonderful fantasy-adventure movies. Then slowly my interest started to grow and it reached its peak, meaning the point I am now. I've collected the first four movies in DVD special edition until this box was bought...Purely incidental it was. Harry Potter is made for Blu-ray and I have to recognize that with new technological experience these movies are more and more growing in my soul. Harry Potter and the Half Blooded Prince seems to be the best and probably what's to come is the ,,epic" we were expecting for so long. Nevertheless all these movies are each a treasure even for us grown ups. The price I paid for this box was a truly bargain. If you don't own Harry Potter on Blu ray, buy it now! No Regrets, 100% guarantee! The special features are present on every disc as one should expect in a huge amount amount of extra minutes, most of them in HD, only partially in normal definition.

This box set is amazing value. All of the first 6 films in one box, and all for the cost of one visit to the cinema. Who doesn't want to watch these films over and over again? Well now you can. A really great buy of some of the best, action-packed stories around. Well worth buying.

Love the Harry Potter films. This bluray set has a lot of faulty packages thought so beware! The first one I bought from Amazon had only 5 films, one was missing. The replacement shrink-wrapped set they sent had 2 films missing, and extra copies of two films. Finally, the third package was OK. So do check the right discs are there when it arrives!!!

What a way to watch these films on the small screen - in glorious Blu-Ray!

I'm not going to review the movies as if you're even considering purchasing this you're already a fan!

Quality:
The first film is the only one which suffers from an average transfer, in my opinion. As the films progress the quality excels expectations. 'Order of the Phoenix' and 'Half-Blood Prince' are spectacular to behold and a joy to watch. The 1080p is crisp, fluid and never falters from the second film onwards and the special effects stun to the last second.
The other noticeable difference between the DVD and Blu-Ray transfers is that there is so much detail that you can feel the coldness of the brick in Hogwarts, for example.

The audio is excellent too. Plenty of options for purists but for people like me there's a handy little Dolby Digital 5.1 track on each movie that sounds amazing!

Extras:
Plenty of behind the scenes extras for each film. Interviews, special effects featurettes, the usual stuff. 'Half-Blood Prince' has a second disc chock full of special features, making ofs and interviews. A bonus being a featurette including clips from the forthcoming 'Deathly Hallows' films.

All in all and excellent purchase. Superb films for a Friday night, excellent ranging to stunning quality and amazing value into the bargain.

Delivers as promised -- Harry Potter in high-def! Royal Mail did a splendid job delivering in a speedy fashion. No issues with VAT or local taxes. Would highly recommend buying from amazon.co.uk in the future.

Great price for a great movie set. Shipping time was very good when you figure it came from the U.K.

In short, a very good deal. A really brilliant price for all the current Harry Potter Movies without paying for any bells and whistles. I'm not someone who ever really watches the hours of extras that accompany many movies, so not having to pay for them and only get what I want, is in my opinion a really good deal.

Although the item arrived after a three week wait, I was excited to get the Harry Potter Blu Rays for such a reasonable price. I live in Kansas City, so I knew this would take a while due to distance and weather conditions around the Holiday. The price was just too nice, and my PS3 played the discs just fine! We will pay upwards to 70 bucks for this set from Amazon.com(US) or at Target/BestBuy, so getting he set from UK Amazon for 30 USD is phenomenal! Cheers!
