Don't get me wrong, this isn't awful, but it is probably the weakest effort to date to come under Scott Heren's Prefuse 73.
It may interest and amuse you after a listen or two, but it's unlikely you'll be coming back for more for quite some time.
This certainly doesn't live up to previous releases such as Vocal Studies & Uprock Narratives, One Word Extinguisher or Surrounded By Silence, which is a shame as I was really looking forward to this album.

Prefuse73 seem to be hot right now with name checks, guest apearances and shouts all over the shop from people like Sa-Ra to Beans (previously A.P.C.)
Personally I found the album a bit disjointed and harsh. It has none of the subtle and endearing touches that lighten the broken beats of K Hebden's or Caribou's work. Some tracks are mashed up gems but as soon as they get going they are over. The interludes sounded forced and seemed pointless fillers.
On a positive tip tho, the beats are crashing and if you like your sounds on the rough side then you'll love this one.
