For evey up there is a down and for every down there is an up, thankfully her downs have been very few and far between, shes the most consistently succesful pop star ever, even when her albums hit low sales points (Erotica, American Life are the only 2) the singles released, usually, storm the top 10 with futuristic vibes and an accompanying artistic video. Celebration is a timely point in her career, when most artists at 50 have withered and succumbed to the ageist view of the media, she, Madonna, battles on and continues to go against the grain and defy all taboo's. People who think she isnt breaking rules anymore???? Think again.... the only taboo left is the one shes breaking now, her age!! And im glad, Madonna WILL have the last laugh, Celebration wether it hits number 1 or not is a success for simply being released!! Only Cher could lay claim at 54 to having a number 1 dance anthem with Believe, maybe its time Madonna broke that claim, i hope she does. Its a great tune, right on the pulse, no-nonsense dance off fun, more listener, dancefloor friendly than anything on Confessions, its hits a beat and sets the floor alight with its 90's esque trance/house clubbed vibe, its the sound of the next decade and you heard it here first.

Though Hard Candy wasn't a bad record (for me at least), it certainly divided public opinion about whether it could be considered a classic in Madonna's extensive back catalogue. "Celebration" is the lead single off her new greatest hits collection, called Celebration and makes a welcome return to the sound of Confessions on a Dance Floor, possibly one of my favourite, if not favourite of Madonna's albums.

Celebration sees Madonna going back to the dance floor, trying both house and electro on this digital remix collection and where she will be greeted with open arms. This collection contains Benni Benassi's Edit which features in the video. If you love the dance music trend that is so vogue right now, then this collection is for you!

Madonna has had arguably the finest collection of hits an artist could ever have, and Celebration makes no exception, produced by Paul Oakenfold and remixed superbly by Benny Benassi makes this one of the biggest songs of 2009!
this isn't any song though, this is an event, Celebration celebrates three decades of non-stop music making by Madonna and a chance for everyone to dance to the intoxicating rhythmic beats of the song and it's masterful remixes only available here on this disc!!
it's an excellent call back to the House genre Madonna excelled (over and over and over) in the early 90's with Express Yourself, Vogue and on the Erotica album with Deeper & Deeper, as well as hints of Euro pop courtesy of Give It 2 Me and Ray Of Light.
The video is hypnotic and sexy just as a Madonna video should be and will be available on the upcoming DVD next week!
this is a must own song and here in 6 amazing versions too!!
sheer brilliance Madge yet again, and thank you!

Hi all,

This is a must, with the remixes from Paul Okenfold and Benny Benassi, you must own this Vinyl. Two faces are printed differently: one wiht the cover of the single and the other one with "Madonna Celebration" printed in white on a red background. The entire vinyl is printed, so it is really nice. Enjoy!

I've chose the single because it included the remixes. 6 versions, as far as I remember. When I received the CD for my surprise, it is just one track - Celebration (Album Version). I feel cheated!
