Having seen The Birthday Massacre in concert several times, I can testify that this dvd captures the energy, showmanship, and cute little Chibi moments that you come to expect from a typical TBM show, and more than does the band justice, with the option of 5.1 surround. The extras are great, including sets from the M'era Luna festival 2005 and 2006, giving you an extra 14 live tracks, plus a picture gallery spanning the bands entire career, and an interview with all six members, which, despite the questions being the banal Kerrang magazine variety, is nonetheless entertaining. Overall, a great package, and a must-buy for all fans.

The Birthday Massacre are difficult to describe without floundering for contradictory adjectives, as the band's name might suggest. Suffice to say they are something original and worth a listen. This footage comes from a concert in Germany and the quality is good, giving you plenty of angles and close-ups, with some sparing use of effects. The band's charisma - particular that of frontwoman Chibi - shine through and the performance is excellent and endearing, covering a variety of their best songs. The lighting is varied and atmospheric.

Extras are quite generous - a long, amusing interview, a gallery and the band's sets from Mera Luna 2005 and 2006. These lack the main attraction's variety of camera angles and atmosphere, which is probably why the footage was not considered of sufficient quality for it's own DVD, but it's still worth a look and is certainly a generous bonus.

This is a must for fans and worth a look if you want to get a feel for a unique and charismatic band.

(Note that the negative review of this product on Amazon UK is actually just a complaint about a late delivery.)

This dvd brings an excellent band, with their selected top songs. The sound & image is very good and the vibration of the show is contagious, take us to jump and sing at the same time. Highly recommended not to fans only, but for electronic & industrial rock lovers.

Well, I`m from Mexico City and I recently bought the first The Birthday Massacre DVD at and it went fantastic all the way, secure payment and an excellent shipping... Let me tell you, all you have to do is create an account, have your credit card ready, buy it, and wait a few days to have your purchase in your hands, I can`t believe how quick and easy this process was. This my first purchase at amazon, because I love The Birthday Massacre and In couldn`t miss this DVD and I had to be one of the first to own it!!!!

The DVD price and the shipping charge were just L13, all the way to Mexico City, that`s great, don`t you think?

Regarding de DVD band, I expected it to be an excellent concert and it was, they put all their energy to it.

Buy it, you won`t regret it!!
