It's an airbed for small children
on 20 December 2012
We got this as an alternative to a travel cot for our 17 month old. We leave it at her Nana's house and she loves it.
We used a foot pump to inflate it and I would recommend using it fully inflated as the sides become more rigid when doing so and will therefore provide more resistance/protection for a child inclined to roll out of bed. The bed floor inflates separately and can be inflated by mouth but you best have a lot of puff! There are two types of valve. The walls have a standard airbed valve (non-threded, designed for a push in adapter) and would really require a pump to inflate, whereas the bed floor has a standard blow up valve that you would typically find on a beach ball or a pair of water wings.
A cheaper option than a travel cot and a bit more fun too.
